So that's it for 2018! Thanks to everyone who came last night, it was so nice to have some social time afterwards.

I'm currently listening to a beautiful podcast by fellow dancing soul Amanda Peberdy. It's called the Hummingbird Chronicles, stories about earthly life, love, synchronicity and hope. A highly recommended listen!

What exactly is a 5Rhythms Sweat?
At a Sweat class we dance together through a wave of eclectic music with minimal verbal guidance. It is an opportunity ...to truly drop into your own practise and follow your own rhythm. No prior dance experience is necessary. The class is open to anyone and any ability. Just bring yourself and desire to move. We generally dance barefoot or in soft-soled dance shoes (please, no outside shoes on the dance floor). Wear clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in and bring plenty of water.
What are the 5Rhythms?
The five rhythms (in order) are Flowing Staccato Chaos Lyrical Stillness®. The 5Rhythms, when danced in sequence, are known as a 'Wave', a coherent map that enables a route to self-discovery and empowerment. The dance is free form so you dance your dance, your way. There is no right or wrong. Still unsure? The best way to discover what the 5 rhythms are is to try it for yourself but in case you have any questions, please do not hesitate in messaging me.

Back at wonderful Wade Street to collect the key for Wednesday evening, hope you can make it!

Hey all, I'm preparing the dates for next term and I was wondering, most 5Rhythms classes are a minimum of 2 hours. How would you feel about the Lichfield sweat running from 7pm-9pm? The class would be £12 for 2 hours. Also some people find the fortnightly thing confusing to keep track of, how about 1st and 3rd Wednesday every month? I appreciate any feedback.

Tonight I'm holding space at The yoga collective Lichfield. The session starts at 7:30pm, £12 on the door. It's a taster session ideal for those with little or no experience but also good if you practise regularly and just want space to dance your dance!

Tonight we dance with Guest Teacher Neil Pinnock from Wild Heart Dance - 5Rhythms. Awaken your conscious self from 7pm-9pm, £12 on the door. Bring comfortable layers, water and if you wish, something personal for the altar.
