5Ts Brass - a brass quintet with a difference: 2 trumpets, 2 trombones and a tuba - making excellent brass ensemble music and entertaining the public whenever we can.

5Ts Brass are a brass quintet with a difference: two trumpets, two trombones and a tuba - no horn!
Based near Reading, UK, we aim to come together to make excellent music regularly and entertain the public whenever we can.
The group started in the late summer of 2017, from a request for a brass ensemble at some events for bothTrinity Concert Band and Woodley Concert Band, both near Reading UK. The members of 5Ts Brass also play in these groups and really enjoyed the outings - then decided to set up as a standalone quintet.
The players have a great deal of experience - no less than three have had long distinguished careers in miltary bands, and all have played for a considerable time in various genres.
We aim to play a wide variety of music including classics and popular pieces.
