What a great, proper American burger joint. The menu was brilliant and the food better. The chilli burger was outstanding, cooked to perfection and the shake was delectable. Only a couple of personal grumbles - the mac'n'cheese is made with American cheddar so very strong and tasted like cheese slices, but the pasta was cooked perfectly. The waiting staff on the whole were enthusiastic and friendly. Over all a fantastic meal and we will definitely be going back. Shhhh don't tell my doctor xx

Went to the Portsmouth restaurant with husband & daughter & her boyfriend, who have been before several times, & who recommended it to us..... & we were not disappointed!!! Staff very friendly, great service, food was amazing the best burger I’ve had in ages... cocktails � moorish!! Could not fault anything & will definitely be going back!!! Thank you ���

We visited on a Tues afternoon. Family of four and pleasant atmosphere with great service by Sam E .

Shown to a table , drinks ordered and supplied and then ages drooling over the menu. We each had something different in the way of mains and dirty sides. Every one was happy with their selection and came out stuffed. Brilliant prices, great tasting food and massive portions. Recommended. Oh and try the shakes. Very very good.

Will be back again for sure.

We made our first visit to you today as a family of 4. From the second we walked through the door we were not disappointed!

Happy staff, gorgeous food, reasonable prices and a nice clean dining area.

Rufus was our server today and we were greatful to him for taking the time to sit and talk through the menu with our very picky 8 and 10 year olds offering different variations of things they liked and for the doggy bags when they couldn't eat another mouthful.

We will definately be seeing you soon!

Visited for the first time today, the service was top rate, staff were friendly and attentive and the food was amazing. Really liked the concept of the surroundings. I’m not a local and I really hope the company expand to the Midlands

Now I’ve been wanting to visit 7Bone burger since it opened.

But working almost opposite shifts to hubs and having 2 children its not always easy to get any time together.

We had not planned on coming here today, let alone with both kids.

As much as I was pumped for our spur of the moment choice with a couple of friends, I was dreading the endless “sit down” and “eat nicely” with the odd “don’t punch/lick/sit on your sister.”

I mentally prepared to pay for another over priced kids meal that wouldn’t get eaten.

From the moment they opened (yes we were keen beans) the staff were welcoming and friendly. My buggy, although small would normally have been frowned upon had space without any upset.

The staff member we had was attentive but not over bearing. He was happy, bubbly and his personality shone through.

Only problem I had was I could have chosen the whole menu it all sounded so good. Sorry diet ��

My allergy son was not a problem for the guy who checked lists and again with the chef to ensure his food would be safe. This can be a massive task in some places and you can see us being labelled the “problem table.” Yet at 7Bone they didnt even bat an eyelid. This meant a lot to a mum who always has issues with eating out with the mini one.

The food came quickly and OMG even if it hadn’t it was worth a wait. Us 4 adults ate EVERYTHING. I don’t believe there was a single thing left. From my friends mac and cheese (noted for myself next time) to the dirty halloumi fries with burgers, we had only compliments.

The kids meals were huge and came with drinks. £3.50 was a bloomin bargain. Especially since my toddler actually ate! This people is a rarity since he seems to be in a bit of a food aversion stage. The added bonus was he only moved seats once and had zero tantrums. YEESSSSS!!!

Not only would all of us high recommend a visit to 7Bone burger but we would be happy to return again with or without the kids.

The vibe was fantastic and I have a feeling this place may become a new family fav!

Just visited today, the food was incredible, and the service matched it. We were served by Adam who gave some top advice and we had the best meal because of it! Thank you!

I love burgers and I've eaten a few all over the world including the U.S and I "popped in" with Freinds as I hadn't eaten there before and all I can say is wow!! Good service from our friendly knowledgeable waitress and the burger and fries where amazing. All round nice atmosphere and simple set up. The milkshakes where also incredible. Thanks 7bone I'll be back asap. 5*

Had a lovely burger with truffled mushrooms on it. I opted for the poutine as a dirty side, which was also very tasty! My server, Sam, was very attentive and checked up frequently that everything was all ok.

Great atmosphere, chilled but lively. Food was really good and the service amazing. Took me a while to pick as several items sounded really good (tip: have a quick look at the menu before you go). Good selection of beers too although would be nice to see a draught option. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

Come to 7bone tonight, with my partner and stepson and had a brill night! Our waitress Victoria couldn’t do enough and was very helpful and polite! I hope you can pass on our gratitude and we will defo return! Great food and amazing service �

We had a lovely meal here and we had 10 people in our party and all of our food came out together and was very good our waitress Chloe was very good looking after us as none of us had been before she explained the menu to us and was very polite and helpful will definitely recommend this place to family and friends

The burgers were dry, tasteless and boring compared to what the menu sells and what you see on Facebook. We also couldn’t add a tip for our waiter onto the card machine and we didn’t carry cash. Feel for them as they’re potentially losing out on good tips. Nice decor, proper American diner feel to it but it is little crammed.

It was dry and not much flavour to it. Our chips were bland and overcooked. We might have gone on an off day but we're in no hurry to rush back.

Amazing food and amazing service. Our waiter Sam E was brilliant! Polite and helpful to all 13 of us. We were seated quickly and were impressed with how promptly our food arrived. Defo recommend for a treat �

We had a lovely meal here and we had 10 people in our party and all of our food came out together and was very good our waitress Chloe was very good looking after us as none of us had been before she explained the menu to us and was very polite and helpful will definitely recommend this place to family and friends

Excellent food and good service. Really loved the side dishes, the onion straws and poutine were delicious. Nice burgers too. Would have given 5 stars but the music was so incredibly loud it was difficult to have a conversation.

Vibey and good atmosphere. The front of house and waiting staff were fantastic. On the ball, had good energy and smiles on the faces. Why only 3 stars? The food was disappointing. The burgers were dry, tasteless and boring compared to what the menu sells and what you see on Facebook. We also couldn’t add a tip for our waiter onto the card machine and we didn’t carry cash. Feel for them as they’re potentially losing out on good tips. Nice decor, proper American diner feel to it but it is little crammed.

Went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. Staff were friendly but the food was disappointing. The pictures from their Facebook group looks nothing like what I received. It was dry and not much flavour to it. Our chips were bland and overcooked. We might have gone on an off day but we're in no hurry to rush back.
