Quite an interesting short read. What are your thoughts? Can't really argue with the statement of a spinal biomechanic professor. I imagine it takes around that sort of time for lactic acid to present itself (although not the same for everyone), and tabata is a really effective method of training that is probably the closest in relation to time.

I'm off to the gym again today to continue my strength and size training. The results are promising and already showing. I am putting on weight in the right areas (muscle mass) whilst maintaining a fairly lean/toned look.
Just remember this simple method...
Weight gain: Energy Input > Energy Output... Weight loss: Energy Output > Energy Input
Make sure that your calorific intake is a balanced, well-rounded and healthy variety of macro nutrients, as this will help optimize your training and results.

Off to the gym this morning to continue my exercise regime.
Handy tip.. To maximise your workout, awaken and release some of your stored energy from your carb stores by performing dynamic warm up stretches and a 10 minute blast of cardio, such as rowing, then perform as many compound exercises as your body permits.
