Pentire Heights is situated on the stunning Pentire Headland at the south end of

Fistral Beach, in a quieter area of Newquay. The accommodation is exceptionally well appointed with superb views of Fistral and the Atlantic Ocean.

Local cafes, restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance, but if you want to experience the hustle and bustle of Newquay’s town centre with its shops, bars, clubs and nightlife, it is only a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive away.

Newquay is ideally suited to explore local coastal walks, various local attractions and for taking days out to visit other areas of Cornwall.

8 Pentire Heights is a beautifully presented, luxury 1st floor apartment sleeping 4 people comfortably, with a double sofa bed in the lounge for 2 more people.

The accommodation comprises of a master bedroom with TV& DVD and an en-suite shower room, second bedroom with twin beds, second bathroom with bath and shower over, lounge with a double sofa-bed, TV & DVD and feature French windows with Juliette balcony with views of the beach and golf course.

The modern fitted kitchen has a breakfast bar, dishwasher, washer-dryer and all modern appliances including Bosch oven.

All rooms lead directly off the hallway.

Bed linen and towels are supplied.

This apartment benefits from off-street allocated parking, and use of the private communal courtyard within this exclusive development.

The apartment is situated within 5 minutes walk of Fistral Beach and 10-15 minutes walk from the main town, and 10 minutes walk to Crantock Beach (via the foot ferry).

Pentire Heights

Pentire Heights is ideally positioned, with the world famous Fistral Beach, home to the National Surf Academy and Ripcurl Boardmasters, which takes place over 5 days in August, only five minutes walk away. It is the perfect place for all the family and to try your hand at surfing. Surfboard, wet suit hire and lessons for all the family can be arranged through the many local surf shops.

Beaches

Newquay has 6 other beaches to choose from including Towan and Tolcarne which are within easy reach. Extreme sports activities and coasteering are available at Lusty Glaze beach and Watergate Bay. Crantock, a wide sand- duned beach is a 10 minute walk, via the foot ferry or an easy drive.

Landmarks & Attractions

Newquay is perfectly situated for easy days out to Lands End, the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, St. Ives and The Tate, Truro’s cathedral and shopping and Falmouth with the Maritime Museum and Art Gallery. There are also many family /children’s attractions including Flambards, Crealy and Dairyland Farm World.

Closer to home there is Newquay Zoo, set in sub-tropical lakeside gardens. As well as 130 different animal species there is the Tarzan trail, play area, rainforest exhibit and much more! The Blue Reef Aquarium, indoor swimming pools with slides, golf and pitch ‘n putt offer other activities.

Eating Out

Dining out is easy with a huge selection of bars, brassieres and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. If you are able to book ahead, the Lewinnick Lodge within walking distance, on the Pentire Headland has superb food, locally sourced and stunning Atlantic views.

The Bowgie Inn, a pub steeped in history, is in an enviable position situated on the West Pentire headland close to the charming village of Crantock, near Newquay, Cornwall. A stunning setting for eating or enjoying a few drinks after a walk on the beautiful headland or the unspoiled beaches. There is a choice of bars, from the traditional snugg bar to the heated, outdoor deck or the newly added sun lounge. The Ocean Bar offers a modern day twist for sports viewing with a contemporary bar with plasma screens.

Celebratory chefs, Jamie Oliver and Rick Stein, both have restaurants within easy reach. Jamie’s ‘Fifteen’ is right on the beach front at Watergate Bay and Rick stein has several restaurants and cafes in Padstow, which is a 40 minute drive away. Booking is strongly recommended for both.
