We've been to 805 so many times that we don't even have to look at the menu my husband is Italian and out of all the Nigerian restaurant we visited (there has been loads) 805 is by far the best! The only downside

I would say has to be the service, sometimes you can find yourself waiting a fair bit of time for your food but on reflection I think it kinda adds to the whole "Nigerian restaurant experience ". The service isn't terrible and I think we only notice it when we're hungry other than that we love 805 the food is amazing and I'm proud to say we get on with all the managers and the wonderful waiters! The jury is still out on the takeaway service....If you haven't been to 805 I would definitely recommend it, it's so lovely seeing the range of different customers that are not Nigerian coming in to experience our food and a little bit of our funny culture and humour!

It is the highest level of food safety that you will experience when you have a delicious meal in a classy environment.

I just want to suggest that Nigerian customers should please respect others and keep their noise down.

The food is fantastic. I have been going there since 2008. The service is not the best but the food always sends us back. My 17yrs old daughter absolutely loves it 805. We have moved out of London but we always visit there when ever we are in London.

Staff were brilliant and food was on time...I am so proud of my people. An African Restaurant to be proud of.

On Sunday the 5th of June, I took a friend of mine to the restaurant for dinner. Having read the many reviews on here, we were prepared to wait for so long before we could be served. On the contrary, my friend and I were attended to swiftly and we were shocked at the speed of the service since it was a busy evening for them. The food not only came out on time, it was fresh and yummy. I could not fault anything there. The waitress who attended to us was very gracious and took pictures of us when we requested. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy home cooked Nigerian food in all their varieties. Well done 805 for bringing Nigeria to us here in London. You guys are awesome and I will definitely come back lots of times.

Me and hubby come at least twice a year. Food is lovely i normally get fried rice. The portion size it great and the food is lovely. I highly recommend. A new restuarant opened up two blocks on the same street as 805 but me and hubby stayed loyal to 805 we didnt try the new place lol.

I've been visiting the restaurant for years or since it was only a third of its current size and have lost count of the number of times had meals there. While it's grown in size and amount of patronage which I consider is down to a cultural affiliation or allegiance, customer service still remains a drawback. I was there with my wife and son yesterday to celebrate 'Mother's Day' and not only did we wait at least 25 minutes to be seated, 15 minutes to have our orders taken, and 30 minutes for the food to arrive, I had almost finished my 'monika' before a waitress 'remembered' to bring the extra pepper sauce I requested. Improvements required please.

I came to celebrate my friends birthday with her at 805 Restaurant and had a wonderful evening with friends. The atmosphere was brilliant and upbeat, the decor very contemporary and the service was excellent. The food tasted fantastic with very good presentation and I found the waiters polite and very helpful. I would certainly love to have my birthday party here.

The snail as starter was very delicious, well presented, hot & spiced just perfect. Assorted pepper soup was not the best I had, but ok with the boiled yam. Monika(roasted croaker fish) was superb and the jollof rice was tasty. Customer service, I have to commend the equal opportunity having whites as well as black staff in African Resturant was great to see, but need more improvement on staff training. Overall, the experience was fab. Well done guys.

I have been to 805 numerous times and I like the atmosphere and the food. The one and only complaint and this needs very urgent attention is the customer service and the waiting time between ordering and receiving food ordered. I would say probably 60% of the food served is pre-cooked so it's a mystery as to why one has to wait so long for ones order. Also maybe number tables so that orders don't go to the wrong table. Most importantly it's either the staff need to be changed or re-calibrated i.e given up to date training because their attitude and energy is very very poor. After all is said, I'm not one to relish on poor performance, rather point it out and hope it's looked into and put to practice. 805 is in my opinion the best Nigerian fine dining restaurant but could be super if certain things were tweaked.

Food was tasty, but the temperature of the food could of been hotter and our food was brought out at different times, almost a 30 minute difference between us all at our table, which meant we didn't eat at the same time . Portion size were good and decor lovely for a local restaurant will go again.

The Restruant is nice . I do enjoy going there as the environment is unique. The only issue with the Restruant is the customer service and waiting time for food. If u are really hungry n fear that u might give up the ghost, pls don't go there cos u might die before the food is served.

I commend the presence of the business. The food was good but the service was bad . After such a long wait we got home only to find the order incomplete and on top of that we called they promised to drop the outstanding things and never showed up !

Good food. The long wait to be seated, the que right in the middle of the restaurant makes the environment chaotic, especially as there was clearly capacity deficiency for the number in the restaurant. Would benefit by having a waiting bar area for customers to hang out have a drink in a relaxed way whilst waiting for table.

Compliments to the chef's as the food & presentation was on point but the service was poor in every way. I had 3 major issues, no spoon for dessert had to ask for this, the female toilet need extra attention & the young staff never greetes us uoon leaving let alone entering the premises! But the place was heaving & one again compliments to the chef's

Went there tonight the 29th of March and ordered pounded yam and ogbono. Never in my life have I ever eaten ogbono that had chicken seasoning in it. Not satisfied, they bastardised it further by adding spinach. In ogbono? Ha! Okra, uzzazi, bitterleaf are option but never spinach. An hour after my meal and all I could taste was chicken seasoning. Awful experience. Definitely not going back.

Very poor service...they need to understand that people dont just come there for the food but also for the experience. Watress took our order. Waited for 1.30hrs for the food. Then, the waitress returned to says the soup is finished in the kitchen. we should order something else...Horrible.

Poor service, this place has been my favourite for years... me and my partner find any excuse to travel all the way from north London.

But we came for Valentine's Day and noticed the service and the food wasn't what it was... we put this down to it being busy... then last night we came again last night to give it another chance. And again... the requests made regarding our order were ignored, staff were rude, the whole experience was a bit of a let down.



I don't know if I will be back again. Which is a real shame. 👎🏽

I was there last Saturday ... the food is ok, but the service is very bad. The waiters never know anything, my girlfriend made a mistake in choosing the menu and then she asked if they could change it for another...and they said no.And I was surprised when they charged me 1pound for a take Away box....
