Helping people to reach their fitness goals whether it's losing weight, general fitness, muscle toning. A personal trainer is included with every unlimited workout at no extra cost. Regardless of your fitness level, we always encourage for you to try the first free workout to see if it's going to be a good fit for you. There are no class times at 9Round and it's unlimited workouts.

Technique Tuesday πŸ‘£ THE PUSH UP
CHAIR/WALL -Place hands chest height, slightly wider than shoulder width -Keeping your feet together, step backwards and come up onto your tip toes... -Core engaged, lower yourself into p-up and push to make one rep! (The more vertical your surface, the easier this is)
KNEES -On the floor, place hands chest height slightly wider than shoulder width -Bend your knees and place weight here, with your feet raised above the floor -Make sure your hips are pushed forward and core engaged -Chest down to the floor & return
HAND RELEASE -Usual hand positioning, this time feet together, knees OFF the floor and up onto the tip toes -Core engaged, lower your body until you reach the floor, letting your hands release at the bottom (this avoids the strain when you reach the lower, isolated movement before the big push!) -Place hands back in position & push until you reach your start position
OVERHEAD -Hands in usual start position, raise hips upwards into downward dog position (knees can be slightly bent) -Bending at the elbows, lower your head towards the floor & push up for your full rep!
TIPS: βœ”οΈ USE YOUR BREATH! breathe IN on the way down & breathe OUT as you push your push up out! βœ”οΈ Ensure your hips are pushed forward & bum is not arched into the air βœ”οΈ Play around with your hand stance to target different muscles
