We are recruiting! We are looking for a junior/apprentice baker. Would possibly suit someone who has recently completed their apprenticeship and is looking for the experience of working in a bakery which makes bread, savoury pies, sausage rolls, as well as a variety of sweet cakes and pastries and fresh creams. Usual hours 2am to 9am 5/6 days a week. We pay national living wage.

We are looking for a 15/16 yr old youth who is looking for a Saturday Job - duties include washing up, using power washer, general helping and learning routine of jobs done on a Saturday. We are looking for a new member of staff to work in the butchery side of our shop - could suit a school leaver who would like an apprenticeship in butchery OR a qualified/part qualified butcher who would like to work in a small, friendly environment. Over the holidays we will be closed on Monday 26th December, Tuesday 27th, and Wednesday 28th. Open as normal on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. New Year we are closed on Monday 2nd January and Tuesday 3rd January 2017. Open as normal from Wednesday 3rd Jan.

Don't forget us when you are thinking about your Halloween or Bonfire Party - we do steak and potato pies and peas for any size party. Starting with our 12 and 18 portion sized tins which fit into your domestic oven. For larger parties we cater for 50 - 200+ and this can be served with plates, serviettes, knives and forks, mint sauce. For numbers over 100 we offer to serve this if you wish. Prices on request.

Hi folks - we are now recruiting - we need a morning delivery driver who has enthusiasm, is trustworthy, preferably over 25 yrs old, and is able to deliver our bakery goods to local outlets between the hours of 6am and 9am (to begin with). Ideally we need someone with the flair to get out there and sell our products to garden centres and sandwich shops to generate more business. We are looking for an enthusiastic, smart and keen to learn - new member of our small team at Charlesworth's. Duties to include serving customers in our bakery and deli, making hot and cold sandwiches, money handling, assisting with keeping shop clean and tidy at all times, and some cleaning at the end of the day. Experience with working in the food industry an advantage, but we will train the right person. You will be friendly, able to help our customers have a good experience when they visit our shop, and be reasonably fit and agile. 8.30am - 5.30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
