A Day In The Arts With Rox

We are ambassadors of the University of Chichester, executing the virtual fundraising event: ‘A Day In The Arts' on behalf of Rox Music and Arts Organisation. Rox is a not-for-profit registered charity based in Bognor Regis, providing a platform for artists of any age and ingenuity to showcase their talents and creations. The charity has built a reciprocal reputation with the community by offering free events wherever possible, to advance the education, awareness, and appreciation of the arts. The two-hour virtual event will consist of a variety of performances from dancers, singers, comedians, and artists. We would like to inform you of our headline act, Tega Alexander: professional dancer, famous Tik Toker and social media influencer. To date, he has 10, 200, 000 likes on Tik Tok and 39, 500 Instagram followers. Tega will be sharing the event with his supporters, and therefore distributing the advertisement posts of sponsors. The event content will further entice viewers with interviews, question and answer sessions, exciting workshops, and tutorials from acts; as well as fundraising competitions. The event will launch on YouTube on Saturday 24th April 2021 at 12pm, where it will remain visible for the foreseeable future. COVID-19 has devastated the arts industry, leaving many unemployed and forced to ‘retrain' after years perfecting their talents. Rox was due to celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2020 with an event, however, the pandemic revoked this. A Day In The Arts will highlight the importance of this industry and showcase local societies, groups, and individuals, mirroring the opportunities Rox gives to society. The aim is to raise £5, 000, which would help Rox continue to improve community wellbeing through free professional events and subsidised workshops in the future. Our efforts to create an engaging experience for attendees and raise substantial funds for Rox would go even further with the support from sponsors.
