We have been overwhelmed by the generosity for the homeless this Christmas, and so pleased to have been able to help in a small way by providing a collection point. The gifts have now been collected, ready for distribution. Merry Christmas!

Thank you for all the generous shoe box donations for the homeless this Christmas. We are collecting boxes until Friday 14th December, so still three days to go. Please mark boxes Male or Female. Thank you and wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas.

We have agreed to act as an official Drop Off Point for Destiny Streetworx Christmas Shoebox Appeal to help the Homeless. Ideas for useful items can be found on the Destiny Streetworx facebook page. Shoeboxes can be dropped in to A & G Marshall Optometrists during our normal working hours from now until 14th December.

Congratulations to Marcia Forster who won the prize draw on our open day, and now has a gorgeous new pair of red Opera spectacles completely free of charge. Marcia also purchased a pair of Vinyl Factory Sunglasses to complete her new look. We think she looks very glamorous in both pairs!

Congratulations to Stanley Richardson who chose a pair of sunglasses from our extensive range today completely free of charge. Stanley was nearest the pin in the Jane Percy House charity golf competition at Arcot Hall Golf Club and chose a pair of Bolle sunglasses with polarised contrast enhancing anti reflectIve lenses as his prize, which are ideally suited to golf. We can't promise the sunspecs will improve his golf, but Stanley's golf probably doesn't need much improvement!

We thought we would share a memory of little Lizzie as it is national bring your dog to work day today. She was part of our team from December to April and she loved it here! Thank you to everyone who brought her treats, fussed over her and asked after her.
