A Good Vintage Supper Club

A monthly Supper Club, presented in an 18th Century cottage over looking the historic City Walls. Where 12 people gather for local seasonal food.

The debut of A Very Good Vintage supper club will be on Friday the 13th of June. The exclusivity of the supper club means we are able to seat 12 so bookings are taken on a first come first served basis. On the second Friday of the month our 18th century cottage will turn into a vintage inspired supper club. Served on mismatched crockery and vintage tableware, seating will be family style, a convivial arrangement of seating twelve people around a variety of tables from different eras. There will be waiter /waitress service.
Menus are seasonal and we use as much local produce in our cooking. For the savoury courses, there are meat, fish and meat-free options
We are proud to work with Hennings Wine shop, on North Street, who each month will select wines to match the menu. These can be purchased at Hennings or pre-purchased through us and we will chill them for you, if required, please see the booking form.
In addition to supper there will be a selection of Vintage items for sale, picked from the best traders from the Vintage and Very Nice markets
Everyone will be served together, so the evening should pan out like this.
7: 30pm Arrival, cocktails and ‘What is it?’ a fun icebreaker where you need to figure out what the vintage item was used for.
7: 45pm Seating for the meal and wine choices
8: 00pm First course will be served
10: 30pm Event closes
We ask that you make your selections in advance, to ensure that the freshest produce is used. To do this please see the booking form for the date you wish to attend.
