Hi everyone, please share if you're interested. The course has been thriving and we now have a third 10 week Weights 4 Women Beginner's session beginning on the 19th June at 7-7.45pm. This is the ideal course for you if: - The weights area in a conventional gym seems a bit scary to you - You do a lot of cardio but minimal strength work - You go to classes but don't really get your form corrected - Not sure what to do in the gym by yourself... - Want to feel strong and a master of your body - Would like to learn the basic lifts: squatting, deadlifting, clean and press and chest press - You want to improve your confidence and wellbeing through movement - Want to train and progress with like minded females like yourself - Want to tone up and feel fabulous...

We all worry about iron and protein intake but have you ever thought about low iodine levels? Here's an interesting podcast with some enlightening information: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09plrg0# play
What used to be an issue in impoverished populations is now becoming more apparent in developed populations as more and more of us choose to cut out iodine-rich foods like milk, eggs and dairy as we turn to a 'healthier' or more ethical diet.
Most milk alternatives are not ...fortified with iodine and deficiency of iodine can lead to severe developmental and thyroid problems as well. It is most essential for the health of pregnant women as low levels can cause the same issues for the unborn child.

Remember how important it is to stretch after a workout guys! Massive advocate here and I can guarantee you that your body will thank you the next morning, especially of youre sat at a desk all day getting stiffer and more achey by the hour. :)
