A Little Gesture, A Great Help

A Little Gesture A Great Help ("ALG") is a small UK Charity focused on overseas aid to vulnerable children in the Province of Gaza, an impoverished rural area in southern Mozambique. We have been working locally for 14 years and through our volunteer work we seek to apply 90p on the ground per pound donated. Our mission is to improve the living conditions of underprivileged children through access to food and education in a dignified environment. In 2018, the ALG Sponsorship programme supports 877 sponsored children individually with basic food and school enrolment costs. The ALG Projects complement this support by benefiting directly over 2'000 underprivileged children and their families, every year, on charitable programmes in poverty relief, basic infrastructure, advancement of education and income generation.
