So I now totally need a cork floor in my kitchen/diner I made this decision purely based on a picture in the new @yourhomemagazine ......that's how all great decisions are made right?
Majorly underestimated the expense though..I thought I'd finally found a project my husband would agree to because it would be cheap🙈 oh how wrong I was.

Well isn't this just dreamy...😍
So all I want to do is change the handles in my kitchen from a brushed steel to a brushed brass.....why is it proving so difficult! Our kitchen is originally from @howdensjoinery and it's been fab! However when I look at handles nothing is ever the same fitting as the space between screws we seem to have.....how very odd! They do however have the exact handles available at howdens but you have to be a trade how bloody annoying 🤣🤣
... Who knew handles could be so infuriating to get hold of!
I can't drill new holes and fill old ones they would terrible.....wouldn't they????

So a'la @bungalownumbernine table tiling I have narrowed down choices of my own that will have the edges finished in the most gorgeous way! 🤞🤞
I think I'm going to stick with the monochrome pallet most likely the white because the kitchen units are all coloured and I dont want to detract from the edging I'm going to use......but OMG those pink ones.....I might be tempted.
