Once again children have moved up and out into different days and times therefore creating spaces 😃... spread the word please to all our lovely customers whom have friends in not so good lessons elsewhere 😂

Fun session is on for your child’s next lesson which will start Monday sessions off tomorrow Tuesday lessons on Tuesday Wednesday lessons on Wednesday and Sundays will be next Sunday 23rd December.
If you haven’t already got a letter with new bank details on then you will need to get one as the bank details you currently hold have now changed over to Natwest from HSBC

A Big Happy Halloween from Mrs Owain

my two children have had there third lesson now I can't believe how much they have came on within 3 weeks! my son loved swimming but didn't like going under water or jumping in and now he loves it! all the teachers are fantastic! would highly recommend these to anyone looking to start their children with swimming lessons! x

my lad had his first session today he loved it very friendly people make the first experience enjoyable, plenty of staff to help in and out pool ,will definitely be continuing here see u next week thank you 😊 id recommend to all

When me lil girl started last yr she could not swim at all but the staff are so good with her she can do a lot more then when she started and any problems I or my child have they go out there way to sort n my lil girl can be very difficult at times but the staff are very friendly so thank you for puttin up with me lil girl n helping her

Well what can I say I am thrilled with the progress my son made within a lesson and after the next week was moved up. He looks forward to going every week and loves the friendly staff. The management team is very approachable too. I would give ten stars if I could and I urge more people to join. Yes there has been problems with venue but no reflection on Astar so sign up today I am sure you will be more than happy.

Really pleased with how my 3yr daughter has come on since starting classes in 9 lessons she has swam 5 meters without arm bands and is thriving in this swim school. Teachers are really good and connect with the children

My two daughters attend swimming and can't be happier with how far they have both come on my youngest is a very shy girl and was unsure at first lesson about 5min been spoke to she was happy and got in pool highly recommend xx

My two boys started here in September and I am so pleased with the progress they are making. My eldest always use to shy away from getting in the water however he and my younger son are so excited for their lessons each week.

My son was 2 in April but was prem so is small for his age, and I had never taken him swimming as I don't like swimming myself, so I was anxious for these reasons. He had his fourth lesson with A star on Monday and the staff are all fab with him. He spent the first 3 weeks crying but they just kept hold of him and this week we finally got smiles! I think all the staff and other parents know my son by his screams haha!! But they're fab with him. Highly recommend x

My son screamed the whole time for the first couple of weeks but they persevered with him and he loves it now and so does my daughter. They are both now confident in the water and processing steadily

My little girls first lesson on Sunday. She loves being in the pool and is a very confident 2 year old! Was a little worried she wouldn't like being in there without anyone she knows, and that she would be the youngest there but she loved it! They took excellent care of her. Cant wait to continue our swimming with Astar!

My grandchildren of 4yrs and 6 yrs cant wait to get to their swimming lessons every week,they adore the very patient teachers , they have really come on since july when neither of them could swim our 6yr old has been swimming without armbands for about 5 weeks now and has several badges. Excellent swim school.

My girls have been attending swimming lessons with Astar for a few years now and Amelia who is 4 has just got her 20 meters badge that is four widths of the pool. I can't recommend the swimming school enough! All the staff are warm and friendly and my girls absolutely love it!!! The best swimming school we have been to so thank you Ian and Emma xxx

My 3 children have just started having private lessons with Astar and I must say I am amazed. My 4 year old has autism and has tried group sessions with another school and didn't really take to it and would want to get out of the water after 15 mins. To my amazement he no longer does this here, he is focused and loves the water, his instructor meets his needs well and is patient and makes the session fun. On the 1st session they took the time to assess all 3 of my children to see where they were at and what needs to be worked on. Very impressed xxx

My 2 & 3 year old have just finished their first month of lessons & their progress already is amazing. Our youngest is so confident when swimming with us now, she swims across the pool independently just using the floats. She spent the first 3 lessons sobbing her way through but the staff were amazing with her, so kind & patient & it's paying off already, she'll jump in the pool & bob up on her own now! Our son has always been the biggest cling on & refused to let go of us in the pool when he can't stand, despite loving the pool. On holiday this week he has swum the width of the pool with just his arms floats on, his technique & confidence have astounded us in such a short space of time. All credit to A star swim school as they've achieved this with him in a month & we've been trying a year or more to pry him off of us! Thanks so much & see you again next week ��

Kyes been attending swimming lessons for a few weeks now he's a very shy boy when meeting new adults and children so cried the hole first session few weeks down the line with the staffs patience he's getting confident each week can't wait to watch him continue to progress with Astar he loves to attend swimming and can't wait for the next week to see Ellie he's took a really big shine to her

It was my daughters first lesson tonight and to be I honest I was dreading it as my daughter who's 4 is terrified of water!! But she got straight in with one of the swimming teachers and was well away!! It was like watching a different child, she had a constant smile on her face and instantly trusted the girl who was with her. She looked so happy and confident! She can't wait to go again!

I took my boys for their first swimming lesson on 9th March. My eldest was quite worried about what it would be like. After watching for a bit he was happy to get ready for his lesson.

They got on really well & the instructors were really good with them. The youngest afterwards said how much he had enjoyed it. All the staff were very very friendly & helpful. I got all the information I needed.

Had my sons first lesson last week. He screamed the whole time(through no fault of the instructor). He is very clingy to me and wanted me to get. Wasn't sure whether to carry on with lessons. The Stef were great with him even though he was screaming at them. The staff ensured me he would be better the next week. We went tonight. He cried for the first few minuites. And then loved it... Think has took a shine to tom. He's lovely .he laughed with him and talked to him the whole way through. By the time the half hour was up my son was kicking his legs and jumping in. I'm still in total shock.I was dreading it and it was absolutely great. Highly recommend !! *****

Came to watch my children swimming today and am blown away by how much progress they’ve made.

My youngest is now swimming without armbands and my eldest (who has learning difficulties and autism) is swimming so well, listening to what he’s being told and even answering questions, all thanks to the patience and fab teaching from Ellie and the rest of the staff. We had attended another swim school previous to a star where they made nowhere near as much progress and even after a year of one to one sessions my eldest was not allowed to join the main group, I’m so glad I moved them as he is now included and treated the same as all the other children and he is so happy!, I can’t recommend A star enough! The smiles on their faces and their progress says it all, thank you!
