A Steven - City Garden Service

Im not one that write reviews but felt I would on this occasion. I cannot fault the work that was done at, they transformed my garden with great satisifaction. I only rate 3 stars because the surprise I got when I recieved there invoice. I had a man come round for a quote, he priced my garden up and left message for me stating what it would cost me, I then rang them back to confirm the quote to carry out the work which they agreed upon only for me to get an invoice for more than what they quoted. Not very happy about this as when you ask for a quote its normally based upon total cost for the work carried out. So if you do use this company and they are very very good at what they do, make sure you are being quoted for the full amount so you dont get any nasty surprises later.

First Class all-round service.
Top quality turf supplied - looks fantastic, and has been down about a couple of weeks now. One or two of the thirty five rolls of turf were not in perfect shape - neither am I for that matter - but still completely usable. In fact some of the part-used turves I binned were subsequently recovered and they look reasonable too.
Delivery was prompt and 'on-time', driver who offloaded the supply was friendly and helpful. He got on with my dog and that always earns a brownie point.
The lady I spoke with in the office was pleasant and gave me some useful advice. Price-wise, I'm no expert but the turf seems very good value for money, certainly I will opt for turfing again rather than purchasing a box of grass seed and leaving the result up to chance.
I worked hard to prepare the surface soil and City Garden service's high quality product has complimented my efforts. Thank you!
Would have no hesitation in recommending this company based on my experience of them.
