They always pick up and always on time, very happy with their service.

Rude, got the address wrong twice, 15 minutes late nearly missed the train to the airport. Won’t be using them again. When can Uber come to Swindon?

I was on a work training day in Swindon so i didnt know the area at all and had to get to the training and back to my train on time. The company was very informative and warned me of the road works. My driver George was very lovely, he genuinely cared about the success of my trips and we had some lovely conversations. They also catered for the fact i moved my taxi last minute to 30 mins early then i had previously requested and they still arrvied early and i had the same lovely driver! Would use again.

Super helpful and efficient. I had an urgent need to have something collected from a shop and delivered to a hotel for business and they jumped straight on it and had it done within an hour. Highly recommend and would use again.

Terrible service. First he called and said he is outside but he parked at the end of my road rather than outside my house despite the fact I have a driveway and there is plenty of space everywhere to pull up. He knew my door number and my house is clearly numbered. I called and said I'm outside and that's when he said I'm at the end. Worst thing is that I called in advance and asked how much it would cost and he said about £5. My partner had a taxi before to the station and he said it cost him £6 so I thought it sounded fine. When we got to the station (may I add there were a couple of instances of harsh braking) he said £12. I said you said it would be a fiver. He totally denied it and was so extremely rude. Note Ive taken a taxi at 10pm before and it was only £10 so how at 10am is it £12.10? He said our conversation is recorded so I said ok then play it back coz you told me £5, and he said I can't right now. Didn't offer me any solution and said to me 'you're making too much of a deal about this'. Then when I got of at the station (granted I didn't say thank you) I stormed off as he was so rude and he got out the car and started coming to the station as well which was intimidating. But to note, he must have had a reason to go there, as he didn't approach me or anything. I can handle a misunderstanding about price but the way he dealt with it was rude as discourteous. I highly recommend you choose another service. There are plenty of good ones in Swindon who are better drivers, friendly and won't trick you into paying more. Can I just add, I'm not being a cheapskate as I get reimbursed from work, but it's the principle. If it was gonna be around £12 and he told me that, it wouldn't have been an issue.

P.S - I did some research and called a further 3 Swindon taxi companies and they all said around £7/£8. So I've definitely been overcharged. If A1 have any professional courtesy they will reimburse me the excess I paid or donate it to charity.

Needed a taxi in a hurry to make a connection. A1 got me there with time to spare! Friendly, courteous driver and overall excellent experience. Thanks A1!
