Founded in 2005, the practice draws on experience from a wide variety of past projects of differing scales and in many different sectors such as :
corporate office, aviation, financial services, hospitality, residential, sporting facilities, telecommunications, government, printing plants, multi-storey car parking, master planning, shopping centre design, trade fairs, interior design, landscape design, furniture design, product design & graphic design.

We are particularly proud to be working with Nokia, nominated as their Master Design Agency for Europe and Eurasia & helping them over the last 6 years to execute over 200 different retail installations throughout most of Europe as well as India, China, Hong Kong, South Africa, Dubai and the United States. In 2007 we were also invited to help undertake a major refurbishment of the NOKIA UK Headquarters, including reception, all communal spaces, meeting rooms and restaurant, completed in December 2008.
P2 Group, a manufacturing company based in the Netherlands with branch offices in each continent, commissioned us to design 2, 000 m2 of office, showroom space and their own indoor lake & island in their grade II listed Headquarters.
Over the years we have also had considerable experience in the residential market, receiving commissions from Germany, The Netherlands and the UK, ranging from private interior refurbishments up to large scale mixed use developments.
We take delight in smaller projects such as the glass and steel mezzanine in a London loft, where a motorised steel staircase transforms an office into a bedroom. With an equal measure of focus, we have worked on brand new shopping centers and their infrastructures across Europe. Both ends of the scale have greatly contributed to our knowledge base. Extensive working outside of the UK has led A2D architecture to strong relationships with other architects, interior designers, industrial designers, graphic design agencies, project managers, engineers and contractors, whom we can rely on.
