It's April 1st - A52 Executive Cars is now VAT registered - Think our first quarter returns will be rather small though :D

It's 21:07 on the 21st March 2020 and I've just finished the last job for the foreseeable future.
Time to get the suits dry cleaned and the books in order. On Monday ill be taking two vehicles off the road and only leaving one as a fully licensed and insured car in case of any last-minute booking.
... Hoping this Coronavirus doesn't hang about too long but who knows at the moment? The main thing is to try and keep your spirits up, use any time in isolation to read a book, learn an instrument or take up a new hobby, but mainly stay safe.
We will all make it through these dark days and it's going to be one hell of a party when we get to the other side - and I fully intend A52 Executive Cars to be there ready and waiting to chauffeur you to and from that party in style!

When all this has blown over we will be employing these guys to give the fleet a proper detailing. Our Mercs should be child's play for them after working on this rather nice Bentley

A52 Executive Cars are officially now offering a short distance Executive Car Service so we may be of assistance to clients who may wish to avoid public transport of trains, coaches, buses and trams.
We are located in Spondon and are happy to consider bookings for most things such as hospital appointments, family visits, airport transfers, business meetings and shopping trips.
... We will do our best to provide competitive rates to taxis, but with cleaner, more comfortable and professional services in our executive fleet of Mercedes E Class and V Class MPV (6 passengers).
The only stipulation we have to make is that due to our executive and chauffeur license all jobs must be booked in and confirmed by email or text - we do not have metered vehicles and cannot be seen to operating as a taxi.
Please consider A52 Executive Cars if you have any short or long journeys coming up in the area.

As corona virus started to become a news story I ordered some more hand sanitiser so I had plenty in for all cars.
It’s just turned up but now we have no clients who will use them lol 🥴
... Fortunately, my wife is a nurse so she will get some use out of them at work

Due to the increase in Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases A52 Executive Cars are taking extra measures to ensure the safety of our clients whilst in our care.
Please note the following changes that we have already implemented;
Vehicle interiors are treated with Anti- Bacterial spray after every transfer... Special attention is paid to hard surfaces e.g. door handles/armrests etc. Tissues, hand sanitiser gel and wipes are available for all passengers Newspapers and magazines have been removed from all vehicles
For clients that are trying to return to the UK but are struggling due to the sheer amount of flight cancellations - don't worry, we'll be there for you - wherever or whenever you finally land! Please keep us updated with your revised itinerary.
Clients that have paid for or paid deposits for airport transfers for holidays/trips that have not currently been cancelled will receive all monies paid if you cancel your trip.
Finally, if you're getting worried about travelling within the UK in taxis and trains to meetings then think about utilising our door to door service. We'll collect you from your front door and take you straight to your meeting and be there waiting for you when you come out. You'll be able to work or rest in a beautiful, sterile environment safe in the knowledge that every measure has been taken to ensure your safety.
We are also looking into providing our executive vehicles for short taxi style journeys in order to keep the wheels turning and the wolves from the door in the short to medium term - I will post an update on this later this afternoon but if you have any queries over short runs then don't hesitate to drop us a line

Could be a while before I see Heathrow again so have to make sure everything is right Including bread and milk so that our passengers could have a cup of coffee and some toast for breakfast when they got home 😂

Well, it's looking like A52 Executive Cars won't be backwards and forward to the airport's over the coming months so, as we will be having a period of downtime, if we can help out any of elderly or those who can't get out in Spondon with picking up shopping or little errands then don't hesitate to drop me a line on Facebook or by text.

Following last night's post, It wasn't supposed to come over as panicky or desperate though I now realise it probably did 🤭
I have had my hand slapped by my wife, mates and business associates 😆
The shortened, less "drama queen" version should have really said.
... "It's getting a bit tough out there but business is continuing as normal so do us a favour, share the page, let your mates know about A52 Executive Cars and bare in mind we offer more than just airport transfers"
I'm now going to go and have a shave and sort myself out for a nice afternoon Chauffeuring between Derby and Lincoln :D

if you know somebody who is going to a business meeting and is concerned about the state of public transport tell them about A52. Let them know that there isn't really a safer way to travel than in the air-conditioned, sanitised comfort of our S Class.
If you are going on holiday then leave the car at home and start your vacation in style with a chauffeur-driven transfer.
... We don't just do Airports and business travel, we can be there for railway station pickups and drop-offs, a comfortable way to get to a hospital, a nice car for a special event or trip a restaurant. Long or short distance, you can be assured that our vehicles are kept clean and anti-bacterial wipes and spray used between each client to clean down touchpoints

I know it's not really a laughing matter but this did make me chuckle :D
Seriously though. Being at various airport's as much as we are, puts us on the front line in the fight against the Coronavirus.
... You will find antiseptic hand gel, wipes and tissues in all of our cars (along with a sealable plastic bag to dispose of any rubbish and tissues that are used) and we are cleaning down touchpoints on the car between clients in the hope that we can at least do a little to help stop spreading the virus.
