Jon and Tracey are leaving the house together for the first time since February. So the lovely people at Belle Private Hire will be handling our phone calls and dispatching our vehicles from 1pm - 5pm today.
For those of you out and about in Warkworth and Amble today... we'll be the ones getting sozzled on the first pint.!

Just been looking at our phone records for May: Calls Answered: 3239 Calls Missed: 131
No wonder our ears are Ringing!!... The only time we ever miss a call is when we are already busy with another phone call (the phone system just queues the calls up and you won't get an engaged tone). So if you don't get an answer please be patient and try again.

Having been one of the few taxi companies in the Hadston/Amble area still operating during last weeks extreme weather, we witnessed first hand the hard work NCC and their contractors put in keeping our roads open and clearing the blockages. I'd like to extend our gratitude and respect to all those involved.

Just had a run from inside out to Catterick Garrison and he taxi driver called John was the best driver I’ve had in a long time � excellent service with great banter, hope to get it again � that guy deserves more than what we paid �

I’ve not used these guys and I live miles and miles away. However I’ve just seen a Facebook post shared by a friend (probably not realising they are miles away from us) saying that while we have the bad weather they are willing and happy to pickup groceries or topup electric/gas etc for their older customers and beyond FREE OF CHARGE. Obviously only pay for the item(s) picked up.

I hope it brings them the future business they deserve.

We have already called our older regular customers and offered this service but would like to extend this to all people less able to venture out during this extreme weather.

Our drivers are out and about and passing most places in the area at some point on our travels. If any of the senior citizens in the area need anything; gas, electric top ups, food fetching from the local shops please do not hesitate to ask. Other than the cost of the items you require we WILL NOT charge you for this service. Please do NOT do without, we will help where we can.

Though I do not live in your area - I wanted to let you know that I think you are Brilliant - Well done

I am in Hebburn but this is a wonderful, thoughtful gesture to help older members of the community in this bad weather. I hope your business gets the recognition and success it deserves. Well done.

I agree with Kevin below. I live miles away from this taxi firm but their gesture to the elderly in the local community is refreshing. A good example of a great gesture!

A&B are a great firm I use the daily Jon and the team are very friendly nothing is to much trouble vehicles are always clean driven by highly profesional an friendly drivers! I would highly recomend A&B to anyone either in the area or those visiting
