Hand crafted snare drums. Built by Raniero with Italian style in the UK. Hand built and hand crafted.

It's 1985, Johannesburg, South Africa. With a one year's contract, playing with a band every night, I have to do something in my free time. Using my passion for drums I begin developing ideas and designs for a different selection of snare drums.
Excited by making my own snares I have a drill press delivered to the five star hotel where I am. Metal shavings and cutting oil are not a hit with the cleaners but my snare drums are. . .
That was when I started 'Abb Drums'.
I sold all the snare drums I made during that year and so continued designing, constructing and selling.
Playing the drums and making my snare drums while touring Scandinavia, Switzerland, Italy and the UK, with various bands.
An excellent review with 'International Musician' in the '80's and selling out on a monthly basis was success.
We all know about family, and Italian families are some of the tightest, that's why Abb Drums fell silent for some years - family.
And now, due to my wife's family, we are back in the UK and coming back strong with Abb Drums.
Still a drummer and still a drum maker, Abb Drums is on a roll, with some really beautiful designs.
