Seen on Facebook; absolutely grizzly stuff - Is this ethnographic evidence to explain partial (or single) human presence in pre-historic contexts. Probably not, but definitely food for thought! 💀🙀🐜

While not wall related; we've worked on some very exciting Roman sites in East Anglia and the Midlands recently. More interesting finds have included; Brooches, Quern Stone, Flint objects and coins ... lets not forget the epic #coindance
The Antonine Wall, a World Heritage site, but not as well known (or as stoney) as Hadrian's Wall. The website below contains lots of information on the Wall, finds from the wall and visiting the wall. Well worth a gander 🤓
#raisingawareness
Recent finds from Hadrian's Wall include 'The Hand of God', pictured below. It was beloved to be a votive offering to celebrate the victory of Septimus Severus over the Pics following their uprising/reneging on a peace agreement.
👩🎓 I am currently reading 'Septimus Severus in Scotland' by Simon Elliott and would recommend it to anyone wanting to know more about his Scottish campaigns.
£2m Lottery Grant will see the rebuilding of parts of Hadrian's Wall and address the 'lack of awareness' over the Antonine Wall.

Rhys finds his first ever coin ... Spoliers - There's dancing!
As a osteoarchaeologist, I'm all for the study of past human remains. As a person I believe that if peoples views on their body after death are known, this should be honored. I'm glad that after 200 years on display, this person may finally be given the burial they had asked for in life.
Dinosaurs had Dandruff, who knew? 😛
Soo cool, not for him though, obviously 😍😎
