Abbey Farm Holiday Park

Park rubbish, toilet and shower block for camping is terrible, no hot water, shop not open much. Would never visit again

The camp site is basic, it has a shop that opens for a few hours a day (mostly when your out), I had 1 warm shower in 3 days, the rest were freezing. The pitch itself was well maintained and did for what we needed. Would possibly stay there again

We have stayed at Abbey farm twice now in our motor home. Such a lovely peaceful site. Very well run. Great location for Ormskirk and Southport. Highly recommend this site.

Stayed for the weekend, in our motorhome, with our two pugs & our French bulldog. Very friendly welcome, the pitch was spacious,with a stone and grass patch.A little shop , library and play area near reception. Good clean showers and toilets . Was absolutely fantastic for us , with our 3 small dogs , there is a dog area where the dogs can come off the lead for a play and great walks on the lead round the fields and woodland . Jusr done my second visit to Abbey Farm. Ticks all the boxes for me. Hard standing touring pitch with elec. Reasonably flat just a little chocking required. Market town within walking distance, although you wouldn't know it. Looking around and you'd be forgiven for thinking you were in the middle of nowhere. Reasonable pricing and friendly owners. Everyone behaved as you would expect from campers. Will no doubt be coming back again.

I thought it was lovely fully enjoyed ourselves very peaceful staff very helpful lovely clean 5 stars for me every time

This site is very good. All the people we have met on site a freindly. Surprised that the dog run pen is not mentioned. Ponies the fishing. Games room and play park make this a great place. Food in the plough inn was very good value too. Kids loved it.

Just had a fabulous stay at Abbey Farm. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. Lots to do on and off site, pitches were big and well maintained and other guests were lovely and chatty.
Small shop on site for basics, kids play park was brilliant, as well as the game room. Fishy nag is available but can't comment as didn't use it. Toilet facilities were clean and well maintained.
Can't wait to go back and would 100% recommend Abbey farm.

was not that impressed with this site at all although the family that run it was very nice i was told a price on booking then had added £20 put on it when we arrived even though i was asked on booking who would be there and how many dogs ect also considering it was a 4 and half star rated the shower block was old rusted and the disabled part was just as bad and not clean as they should be. but will say the pitch we were put on was clean and tidy and the grounds was very well kept but even so i will not be going back
