Price is £45 which will include the transport and your ticket into the event. Under 16s 40£

The BHS Manchester Dressage Qualifier is being held at Ryder Farm Equestrian Centre on Monday 9th July!
The Area Qualifiers are open to everyone to participate. Have a go at dressage in a fun and friendly environment!
Classes will be split into Seniors and Juniors and tests will be: Intro B; Prelim 1 and Novice 28
... Provided you are a BHS or BRC member, the top 5 from each class will be eligible to qualify for the championship.

So today Ed and I went off to Southview for our first British Dressage, we entered both of prelims as we may as well have done 2 instead of just going for 1! He behaved perfectly no spooking for once! Was just difficult to get him to relax and stretch in a new venue he hasn’t been to before. We struggled with our rhythm as I couldn’t get him forward off my leg so in turn his balance wasn’t great 🙄 a lot to work on and I feel it could have gone better. Buuuttt.. I’m putting too much pressure on us and just need to be happy that he has come so far 👌🏼 But we got what we went for and it was 2 qualifying score 👍🏻 just 1 more to get 🙂

Today I signed up for #hack1000miles set up by Your Horse Magazine.
Especially being a committee member of the BHS , hacking , safety and access are major topics of the meetings!
I started today with the shortest ride ever of 1 mike just to give Dustys legs a stretch after somerford yesterday.

Pwmellin Dun & Dusted by Menai Cardi Llwyd... Rising 6 full up 148cm for sale on behalf of the owners. Dusty is the perfect pony for a competitive teen and would be an excellent event pony! In the past 8 months Dusty has been to numerous shows, Showjumping, Dressage always scoring low 30’s, working hunter, ODEs. Works well on the flat , jumped 1m out and 1.20 at home. Double clear and won at ODE’s , qualified in SJ and combined training at Trailblazers. Been out BSJA senior BN on a ticket so would pony BN and Disc easily. He was due to be at Stafford this weekend however it has been abandoned. Dusty has never known to stop at a fence, he will go off any stride and look after his jockey. He has had a very novice nervous rider and quite happily walk and trotted around the arena! Good to hack alone in all traffic (we are on the main A666) or in company in front or behind, shoe, clip, load. Will stand in the lorry alone at a show. Not nappy, never reared or kicked. No vices. Open to vet/trainers etc. No time wasters please as Dusty is such a kind character and deserves a 10* home with someone to have fun with. Dusty was a superstar today at the eventers Dressage at Kelsall and would say he did a foot perfect dressage to score 32.8 and came 7th out of 30! Super pony I think he is getting ready for Stafford next week! 🐴
