Okay, it may not be the most exciting thing we do here, but look how work is progressing in the dressing rooms! Mirrors and basins fitted, and lights waiting to go up. Actors, you will really appreciate these facilities. If you want to see them for yourselves, don't forget to join auditions for our December production of A Christmas Carol, details here: http://www.abbeytheatre.org.uk/jo…/comp any-of-ten/auditions/

The theatre may be closed for the summer break, but that definitely doesn't mean nothing is happening. The backstage toilets and the dressing rooms haven't had an upgrade since the theatre was built 50 years ago! Not finished yet, but a team of volunteers is working hard alongside our contractor, Dean, to replace the old lino surfaces with new grey worktops and a fresh coat of paint. There will be new mirrors, basins and lighting ready for the new season.

Our daughter took part in Loserville and this year was the first time she was part of the cast for a SAYMT production. We were absolutely taken by the talent of the kids that took part in it and both their passion and enthusiasm, and of course extremely grateful for all the opportunities and happy times given to Maz. Well done everyone. More next year please.
