Abbey View Golf Course & Track

The track hosts lots of school events in the area and although quite long in the tooth, has reasonable facilities. There is no stand and everyone is at the mercy of the weather. The golf is set in big grounds so forget any chance of par 3 holes. It is well kept and an enjoyable walk.

I absolutely love this track! I hadn't known it was there and had been looking for a facility like I have in the US at local high schools. I'm so thrilled to find this one locally.

I'm not a golfer but I have 3 clubs. I went with friends who play quite a bit. It's a great course for us all. Hard enough to challenge the players yet fun enough for me. It's cheap too. A quick round after work is great. Just turn up and pay to play.
