Dog Friendly with great food and service
We visited on a busy Boxing Day 2017 and were lucky enough to get a lunchtime table
Superb cod prawns and crab with a little prosecco
Made our day trip from Northumberland very rewarding will call in again

Another great Steak cannot fault this place, staff very friendly one of our favourite places in Whitby to eat.
Great selection of drinks available from the bar

I can not recommend this establishment any more! They are fantastic! They were warm and welcoming amd couldn't do enough for you! They made my entire family and I feel so welcome. My wife and I had just got married and there kindness and generosity played a part in making our wedding unforgettable!

Good food,great place, awful service. First time i put it down to human era and because they were busy.the 2nd time I was there same thing you place an order the meal took ages, bread and butter etc and what ever else we ordered was forgotten about.we asked three times for the rest of our order we got all the.order just before we had finished our meal
The second time they were not busy, the staff were stud around talking. I will not be going back

Great food great service great harbour views. Worth every penny even though a bit more expensive. Lovely tall Yorkshire lass was most accommodating and very pleasant. Weell done. Always worth a visit.

Absolutely lovely, recommended to us by a frequent customer, watch out for the service charge though! It's added to the bill.. On the positive they are more than happy to take it off as it's 'optional' we then left a tip..

Abbey wharf is a seemingly nice place until you meet the bar staff. They are ignorant disrespectful and do not treat the customers as a priority. The bar tender put extra drinks on my order to make some extra money and take advantage of me and my partner as we are a young couple and assumed we were drunk. As we sat down the staff began to laugh and joke, which I am usually happy to see, but then began shouting foul language towards one another whilst their were children in the bar. The toilets were foul as there were toilet paper covered in urine all over the floor and toilet seat. I would not recommend this place to anybody who does not wish to be taken advantage of or who is out to have a nice night with a wonderful atmosphere. In conclusion I will not be returning myself and would highly recommend that anyone in the area should stay clear of this particular "cocktail bar."

Nice place good food &drink

An superb place. Everything from the view to the food - staff included. A place to go and have a nice drink or a wonderful meal, sit inside by the window, up on the mezzanine level or outside on the balcony and look through the high glass frontage that keeps the wind out over whichever view of Whitby you choose. Also has a takeaway option just at the top of the stairs before entering the main restaurant.

Not very welcoming if you only want a coffee, very abrupt and dismissive, found a lovely cafe nearby. It's a confident business that can be so unaccomadating to customers...good luck with that. Avoid the embarrassment if you only want a cuppa!

Great location. Lovely atmosphere. The food was excellent. Very family friendly before 8.00. No kids after 9 though and it turns into a very trendy drinking/music venue.
