About Abbeydale Cottage Nursery
ACN is a purpose built, family run nursery in the South West of Sheffield. Situated on Abbeydale Road South, close to Dore railway station.
Abbeydale Cottage Nursery Description
Abbeydale Cottage Nursery (ACN) premises will be a private, secure building, located within the grounds of Abbeydale Sports Club in the Abbeydale area of Sheffield, (S17 3LJ)
We plan to open from 7. 00am to 7. 00pm Mon – Fri, all year (excluding bank holidays and 1 week over Christmas) providing the early years foundation stage education to all children who attend.
We will cater for up to 71 children in the nursery at any one time
Our premises will be split into 4 rooms;
Room 1 will cater for children aged 6 weeks to 1 year. Up to 10 children
Room 2 will cater for children aged 1 year to 2 years. Up to 15 children
Room 3 will cater for children aged 2 to 3 years. Up to 24 children
Room 4 will cater for children aged 3-5 years (preschool). Up to 23 children
Each room will have their own age appropriate educational and play toys and key workers will plan their daily activities to the early year foundation stage guidance.
Lunch, tea and snacks will be provided for the children, and are included in the cost of the relevant session.
Each day will be split into sessions. Each 5hr session costing £27
Session 1. 8. 00am -1. 00pm Including cooked lunch and a mid morning snack
Session 2. 1. 00pm -6. 00pm including a light tea and a mid afternoon snack.
Session 3. 10am-3. 00pm including a cooked lunch and a mid afternoon snack.
Any additional hours either side of the sessions will be charged at £6. 00 per hour, with the breakfast hour (7. 00-8. 00am) and the lunch hour (12. 00-1. 00pm) and tea hour (4. 00-5. 00pm) costing an additional £0. 50.
Both a cooked lunch and light tea will be provided and delivered twice daily by an external catering company and this will included in the cost of the session. Breakfast will be a selection of cereals and provided in house.

We are so thankful and proud of every single person who has had an input in ACN since we opened on 19th October 2015.
From the amazing children, past and present, who we have the pleasure of caring for and teaching every day, to the most incredible team of staff who make ACN what it is today, to the wonderful parents.
... It hasn’t been an easy 3 years but we would do it all again in a heartbeat! We have met so many wonderful people and Jodi and I are so grateful to you all for supporting us in this journey.

Sheffield Children's Hospital Raffle 50p a ticket/ £2 a strip of 5 Prizes include Spa days, Afternoon tea's, restaurant vouchers, football tickets, salon treatments, family pass to Cannon Hall Farm and many more.
PM us if you would like to buy any tickets, or pop in to nursery reception. ... The draw will be held on Friday 28th September.
We will also be holding a silent auction to be drawn on 12th October, where we will be auctioning a team signed Sheffield United Shirt, a 'call the midwife' book signed by one of the cast members and a Shayne Ward signed photograph.
If that wasn't enough we will also be having a bake sale w/c 29th Oct-2nd Nov.
