Abbie'S Childminding

As part of healthy eating week last week, we continued to follow this with looking at the hungry Caterpillar story this week. We have been tasting lots of different fruits today, feeling their texture and finding our favourites.
We tried- kiwi fruits, passion fruit, pomegranate and mango.
We were trying to bang the passion fruits hard skin on the tray and we weren't too sure about the fury kiwi! Surprisingly we liked eating them all, I couldn't cut them up quick enough!

Well, what a busy few weeks it has been. We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, with some beautiful sunny days and lots of play outside, toddler groups,play parks, soft play and even taking my 92 year old nanny out to help us look for some flowers.

Keeping my husband busy this weekend, cannot wait to watch the little ones play with their new mud kitchen when it's all finished 😁

A great end to a busy week, with the children falling in love with lots of playdoh play. We also got out the kinetic sand too!

A busy but fun packed day. We made a playdoh garden, we stuck flowers in the green playdoh and also squished them into the playdoh to leave a flower print. The children selected some other toys to add to the fun too.
We then went to a toddler group and thoroughly enjoyed playing with the jelly bath and singing songs at the end. A busy morning, resulting in 3 sleepy children.

We are really looking forward to exploring our theme 'In the Garden' this week. The theme has arisen from one of the little ones interests after helping his daddy in the garden at the weekend.
We are: Visiting a garden centre and buying some flowers to plant and grow
... Making a soil tuff tray with garden tools, pots, daisies, scissors, grass etc.

Pancake Day and world book Day week...

Our recent trip to marwell zoo and other bits and pieces.

Well half term has been and gone in a blink of an eye, however we did have fun while the big children were here to play.
Trips to the park, hilliers, playing in the garden, seeing friends and much more. 🌳🌼🛴☀️

This is a family friends boy, it would be great if anyone could help. It would mean the world to leo and his family.

Well two weeks in and the children have loved how the playroom has changed. Lots of open ended play opportunities using lots of loose parts, whilst still incorporating the children's favourite toys.
