As most of you will know, Poncho our Greenwinged Macaw has been coming into the shop with us most days since we opened 5 1/2 years ago. Being the Diva that she is, she has always loved seeing new people (but not too close!) and lapped up the attention. We feel that at 92 years old, although still fit as a fiddle, the time has now come for her to retire with a little more peace and quiet at our farm. 😊 We will continue to bring her in to the shop for the next few weeks so if any of you would like to come down and see her in the meantime you are more than welcome. Of course we will still update everyone on her antics as we know you love her as much as we do!

Well, the shop is great, they take great pride in their animals and the staff are sooo helpful. I love a visit. So much nicer than other reptile places I've been to. Very pleasant experience. Huzzah for Becks Pets! X

We visited the shop today for the 1st time & brought 2 baby female guinea pigs, the lady who served us was brilliant! So friendly and helpful and she was so loving towards the animals which was nice, so glad we came here today thanks for your help �

We had found becks pets and exotics on the internet,luckily it was only an hour drive from where we live, we was looking to buy African grey parrot. We got her on Saturday so our new baby has been here two days and she is absolutely lovely, settled in with no problems, walks straight on to your hand, and really tame she loves her new cage and toys , love her to pieces already, thanks to char and sophie and all the rest of the staff who looked after us brilliantly thank you x

We bought our son a tortoise from Becks a few weeks ago.... can’t speak highly enough of them. In a time where traditional pet shops are rare, and having staff who are passionate and knowledgable even rarer, this is a gem of a place and ‘Char’ is just brilliant. Forget the big pet supermarkets and make the effort to go here.... you won’t be disappointed!

We bought Frank the corn snake today, Emma who served us was amazing and so knowledgeable, put my Son at ease as he was asking loads of questions which she loved. Thank you cannot thank you enough. ��

This shop is amazing purchased my baby African grey today. Travelled from Ipswich 7 hours drive there and back well worth the visit. Wouldn't have brought an African grey nowhere else. Top staff and no how to care for there animals

This shop has helped me a long the way with my bearded dragon with advice and always helping were they can I can say they are at top marks with me never had a problem with any advice that was given well done u guys

Staff really good and helpful with good advice. If you are looking for a bird I would highly recommend this place and everyone is very friendly and welcoming.i bought my B&G March 5th 2017. I’m glad I did I love her to bits she is my baby. Also least you know the birds background as well

I came in on Sunday with my sister just to price things up for a tortoise. And ended up buying everything I need. The lady who helped was fantastic and bombarded me with so much information. Can't wait to get Eric home this week

I called in today For some advice on acquiring a snake for my daughter . The reptile expert was lovely and really showed an enthusiasm for the animals in her care .... she let my 9 y/o handle a young corn snake which really made her day ! Thanks , all being well we will pack in May with a full wallet ��

I brought. My African grey parrot from hear 9 years ago and the service has been amazing he is a lovely little chap his name is rolo

I went back yesterday to buy myself a blue quacker and the staff very helpful and full of knowledge I felt very happy with my choice and delt with char she's fab �thanks so my new parrot is called ziggy thanks all again xxx

I brought my first Quaker from Beck’s pets yesterday and the staff there were so helpful and informative. Especially Emma who helped us pick peppa from day one and was just as excited as we were to collect our baby 😍😍

Had my tortoise and hamster from here along with lots of other bits and bobs for the dogs and cats. Couldn't be happier and the after care is fab, quality products and always happy to help

Amazing place for all animal lovers. Animals are well looked after and all the staff care about them as If they are there's so you know they are treated amazing and kept healthy. The staff are amazing and so east to get along with and chatty as well as hold a pashion for the animals. Highly recommended to everyone

We brought our eldest a new buggie and we had only had it 2 weeks it hardly flew and noises didnt bother it. Woke this morning to find it dead in the cage the shop r sayin somethin made it jump when nothing bothered it. Wouldnt go there for a bird or fish coz my partner looked at the fish when we went to chose the new biggie and he found some dead ones in the tank and they say they check there animals dailya the fish that was dead looked like it been in the a day ot two. Absolute joke
