Abc Concerts

About Abc Concerts

A concert series for babies, toddlers and Families built around your needs.
Real Music, not rules.
We have had a number of audience members asking about music lessons for their children.
The best place is to start with your local music hub!

Abc Concerts Description

ABC Concerts are an experience for you and your children.
At each concert you will be taken on a rich, stimulating, engaging and fun journey through the world of music in an environment that is built around your needs.
We do live concerts that are fully flexible. You are free to move around, feed, drink, walk, jump, clap, laugh, cry, shout, sing, roll or change a nappy.
We also do engaging and fun online concerts that you can stream right into your house.
At each concert music is brought to life by some amazing professional musicians. These concerts are not 'dumbed down'. Babies are known to concentrate fully on something that is engaging, fun and stimulating and ABC are all of those things. You baby wants to be fascinated, and ABC will fascinate them (and you) throughout.
ABC brings incredible artists who present their favourite musical styles for you and your family.

User

a lovely atmosphere for children and their grown ups. Nice to chill out and hear some proper music. No nursery rhymes, backing tracks or forced jollity. The music did the talking!

User

What a great family event with jazzed up Christmas carols, cheerleader gymnastics & jugglers!!! Well done Neil & Cat

User

We went along for the first time today. The concert was fantastic, great fun. We're looking forward to the next event.

User

Very excited

Took my four year old to the recorder concert at Portsmouth Guildhall this morning and it was brilliant! The musicians are great at engaging the children and sit among them, talking to them and encouraging them throughout. Ally brought her big recorders right into the middle of the room and told a lovely story. Afterwards, we could go and look at the instruments and were even allowed a go on the recorders! Definitely recommend and looking forward to the next one.

User

This is a fabulous idea & it was a really enjoyable experience. Two thumbs up!

User

The concert in Southampton today was absolutely fantastic!! We all enjoyed it. The venue was amazing. The musicians were brilliant! There was plenty of space for the children, the musicians really got the children involved and let the children get up close to look at the instruments. It was our first visit but we will definitely be going again!! We loved it!

User

So impressed with ABC Concerts - the kids were all so engaged and the music was fantastic!

User

Really lovely concert. My 6mo old wriggled, slid and rolled for the first half and then slept for the second. Stimulating and soothing!

User

Me and my two girls (2 and 4) loved it. Went to our first one in Sep. 17 and will definitely return.

User

It is great that the kids come first, and there are genuinely no rules as to where and how they listen.

Watching young kids dancing to the performance makes me wonder why they don't run concerts for adults in the same way!

Both my boys love it, and I can't wait for the next one.

User

If you and/or your little one are tired, stressed or a little bit fraught, these concerts are the perfect tonic. The beautiful music soothes and amuses the kids while giving parents chance to sit still for half an hour and enjoy something for them too. Lovely!

User

I went for the first time today with my 6 month old and it was magical, the space in the Winchester Church is beautiful and it was filled with wriggling giggling babies and chilled out parents! Tenderlore were gorgeous. Can't wait for the next one :)

User

Great morning yesterday at Portsmouth Guildhall. As you can see from the whirling dervish in the pics, Erin couldn't help but move to the music. Will definitely cross the water for another show ... though I'm sure the Isle of Wight would give you a warm welcome!

User

Great jingle bell jazz concert!

Our 5 year old son with autism thoroughly enjoyed himself as did our 2 and a half year old. It was so nice that they didn’t have to sit still or quietly!

Highly recommend these concerts, especially for those with children with special needs who really love music but struggle to sit still like you normally need to be at a music concert!!

Thank you so much for making our children smile 😊

User

Great concert! Loved the music & the relaxed feel is fab for children. Definitely will come again!

User

Great concert today (woodwind trio). Lovely relaxed atmosphere, we'll definitely be coming again. Preferred the extra space and light at the new venue.

User

Easter bunny hop today was just brilliant! Our 1 1/2 year old loved it! (So did mummy and daddy!)

User

Brilliant concert for children. Loved every minute

User

Brillant Easter bunny hop. We loved it.

Thank you.

User

Absolutely wonderful shows for children!

User

A well rounded education is one of the greatest gifts we can give our children. From one Neil Valentine to another, I look forward to learning more.

User

A great way to introduce little ones to classical musical in a relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend checking it out!
