Part-time catering assistants required. Duties will include serving customers at the counter, till duties, assisting with the preparation and serving of all meals and beverages to customers, ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy and that health and safety regulations are followed.
Hours will initially be over the lunch period (days tbc) but will be expanded over the Summer months. Ability to also provide cover running the kitchen, preparing meals pref...erred.
Experience of working in a tea room/cafe type environment is essential. Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 preferred but not essential.

Charming Place! Great atmosphere! FECKING AWESOME Scones!!!!! Cream&Jam or Jame&Cream...... lol

Lovely quiet place to sit, food was rather slow to come out but it was very nice coffee in a pot and friendly staff.

Unfortunately Knightstone Tea Rooms has slipped a long way from where it used to be under previous management. The new people are very friendly but clearly not cut out to run a restaurant. We paid £6 and waited an hour for 2 tiny, shop-bought, scones! The table opposite us waited just as long for 2 sandwiches and a bowl of chips. And the vinegar the staff brought them for their chips looked like something was growing in it. We were warned that there’d be a wait because they we so busy, apparently 3 tables inside and 1 outside is busy. I’d hate to see what would happen if they were actually busy, people would still be waiting for their breakfast at closing time! Luckily I will never have to find out, as we won’t be back. Sad really, as it used to be one of our favourite places.
