Today Jane (our minister) is off on an amazing challenge - let’s call it an adventure! She will be taking part in a walking tour of the last 70 MILES of the Camino to Santiago de Compostela - this is a 5 day journey starting in the east at Sarria and each day she will walk between 14 to 18 miles, until arriving in Santiago. Jane is very kindly raising money for our Child Contact Centre, for those of you that don’t know, our Child Contact Centre is a safe, friendly, neutral sp...ace for children and loved ones to spend time together who do not live together. For more info or to volunteer one Saturday a month - even half a day, please contact Corette via the church office.
If you’d like to sponsor Jane there is a sponsorship form in the reception area, you can also donate directly in an envelope labelled ‘Jane’s fundraiser’. Jane would also appreciate your prayers as she takes on this challenge - see you soon, safe travels!

*Sunday Highlights* What a great morning! Our theme was Fathers Day/Trinity.
In The Gathering we had a great word from Dale. We talked about our experiences with our earthly fathers and how even though they can love us and care for us, our Heavenly Father’s love is without limits...it is limitless. We also talked about forgiveness. We read Romans 8:14-17 and 1 Corinthians 4-8. God is Love.
... In the Sanctuary the theme was ‘Guess who?’ and included hats! Our readings were John 16:12-15 and Romans’ 5:1-5. You can listen again on our website, it’ll be available shortly.
Next Sunday: Joint service 10:45am in the Sanctuary Evening service with Holy Communion in the Chapel 6:30pm (The Gathering returns 30th June)

*Pentecost Sunday* We love spending time as a church family, especially when there are baptisms too!
This morning we spoke about the Holy Spirit and how it helps us. The children found 6 ‘gifts’ around the church -
Walking boots - the Holy Spirit helps us to be strong
... Wedding ring - the Holy Spirit is always with us
A map - the Holy Spirit shows us the way
Heart - the Holy Spirit lives in you
A textbook - the Holy Spirit teaches us
Diary/journal - the Holy Spirit reminds us of what Jesus said
What effect should the Holy Spirit have on us? The Spirit helps us respond excitedly to the wonderful things God has done
“It's Your breath in our lungs So we pour out our praise We pour out our praise It's Your breath in our lungs So we pour out our praise to You only
And all the earth will shout Your praise Our hearts will cry, these bones will sing Great are You, Lord”
Great Are You Lord - All Sons and Daughters
Next Sunday (16th) The Gathering - 10:30am Sanctuary - 10:45am
