Above Bar Comedy

We run this comedy night run not for our love of profit, but for our love of comedy. For more information about who is performing see events section.

'Above the Bar Comedy' is a not-for-profit stand-up comedy night run by volunteers who want one thing; to share their love of comedy. The night is stationed at 'The Art House, ' a venue which shares our passion for live entertainment. The suggested early bird entry fee is £5. This is donated to the 'The Art House' who use it to cover the daily running costs of the building. This night is for everyone who wants to enjoy fabulous comedy.

The Art House is a not-for-profit organisation which is run predominantly by volunteers. It's an essential hub for the arts in Southampton because it provides a space for all artists, from any discipline, to display their creations.
