This Saturday our Captain Gary Bronziet is hosting the 'Abridge Winter Roll Up' which is an excellent way to mix with other members (both old and new).
Why not arrive a bit earlier for breakfast and enjoy the company with a cup of tea or coffee.
Format will be Individual and Pairs stableford (with a twist). No need to book, just turn up on the day!

Great work is being done on the Abridge Golf club fairways over the next few weeks. The clay is so hard and dry underneath our carpet fairways so we are using this bad boy bit of kit to break and fissure the clay at about 8 inches underground. This will help us get some moisture down into the ground and also some well needed oxygen to the grass plant and keep our fairways in the excellent condition for our members & visitors to enjoy next year . It’s a new dawn at Abridge Golf Course why not come and see what all the fuss is about !?

The course is undergoing some irrigation work however don’t let this keep you away.

Have been a member here for three years plus now and apart from a rough patch earlier this year the course has been in top condition.



The greens are immaculate and true and fairways manicured and green.

Once the work is finished over the coming couple of months,

I believe Abridge will provide one of the best, if not the best golf course in Essex.

Stunning golf course

Ladies- you must tryout Thursday lessons with a pro - 1.30- 2.30, £15 for five lessons and tea/coffee after!! Taster session last week was great fun and the more the merrier!!

Great golf club welcoming staff good food and excellent golf course presented to the highest of standards in the area!

Great course. Fairways well kept (except usual non divot replacing) and Greens tricky. Website pictures do not do it justice as some lovely holes and overall a very well kept course.

Great course in very good condition with fast greens. Lots of dog legs so might mean 3 wood off the tee a few times for some very big hitters

Definitely one of the best courses in Essex which is now back in 5 star condition due to the new irrigation system

Very nice day out a nice round and a lovely salt beef sandwich to finish, very friendly club and staff

Course is fab spoilt by coffee with a metallic taste very poor

Beautiful views across the Forest. Clean and well presented.

Surprised by their attitude, I paid a lot of money in a charity auction for a game at this course only to be told that there were restrictions on the booking afterwards. No flexibility at all
