Absolute Archaeology is an independent commercial archaeological unit, providing a range of high quality archaeological services to the development sector (private and public) throughout the UK and Channel Islands.

Absolute Archaeology carries out a range of archaeological services across the UK, Somerset, Wiltshire and Channel Islands. This is mainly directed at fulfilling planning requirements such as undertaking desk-based assessments, watching briefs, evaluations, building recording, excavation and post-excavation /publication. But we also engage in a range of research projects with the intention of making archaeology more accessible to communities and volunteers.
