Good advice from our friends at Age UK Notts

I’ve spent the afternoon at the funeral and wake of a recently deceased client of ours who was also a neighbour of mine.
Firstly, I must say that the family and widower were absolutely lovely and welcoming at a very difficult and emotional time for them. They are also very grateful to all the team that looked after Mrs S and continue to look after Mr S, and they asked me to pass on their thanks to you all.
But what struck me most was the dedication, commitment and tender lov...ing care given by 4 of our care team who were in attendance. Special thanks go to Julia and Curzon for supporting the family and Mr S through this period and for preparing some lovely food for after the service. You made me feel even more proud of our team today, and as usual I am in admiration for the very person-centred care delivered by all our care team.

Huge congratulations to Kim, Jess and Karen who were all lucky winners of wellbeing gift vouchers for a neck and shoulder massage at Amour Studios in Barrow. The vouchers are a small token of our appreciation for making the effort to attend this months TEAM MEETING. Well done, team 💜💜💜

Wendy and her team are wonderful. My mum and dad have used absolute care for over two years and we have found all the carers very friendly, caring and supportive especially the past few weeks after my dad passed away. I can't thank them enough for what they have done .

My husband has been with you now since June, at first I wasn't at all sure that this would be ok for us as you hear such things in the news about carers but how wrong can you be. All of the girls have been really great, professional, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. The office staff have brains and use them, as the council who initially set this up certainly don't. I can honestly say it's like welcoming a friend into our home and I can't recommend your company enough. We would also like to give special thanks to Elisa (even if she was remiss enough to get pregnant and go off on maternity leave LOL), Michelle, Claire and Wendy. Not sure who does your interviewing for new staff but they certainly seem to get it right every time. In conclusion many many congratulations on you award of excellence it is well deserved and yet another instance of your professionalism,when the girls are as thrilled as they are by it too.

In the last year until mum died we used absolute care to help her ,she loved each and everyone of her carers who told her about their lives she was always telling us what was happening ,they gave her conversation which to us meant a lot because she lived alone and it's easy to just do the job and go but all the carers spent time getting to know mum and mum loved getting to know them ,I would recommend this agency to anyone who is looking for a caring and professional team where nothing is too much trouble .

I love Absolute care I have been working here for almost 2 years. They are so different to any other care company I have worked for. Of course every company has issues but it's the force behind those issues that keeps bringing people to absolute care whether that's service users or employees my colleagues are amazing people who I genuinely adore. Wendy Andy and all the office team genuinely care about everyone and really do try to accommodate what's thrown at them. Today our christmas get together was arranged and we had the most beautiful Buffett food in a beautiful venue with amazing gifts.
