When Abstract had been open for just 3 years Amber was invited to co-create choreography together MOTIONHOUSE who create dance-circus productions that tour across the globe. Distraction Dance companies trained intensely throughout the summer alongside Motionhouse and performed the co-created choreography with them at a large Portsmouth Dockyard event. Such amazing recognition!

We would like to say a huge well done to Logan who had been working sensationally hard in rehearsals as he was cast as the only child role in this production of The Addams Family, Pugsley Addams. He was due to perform two weeks ago but sadly they had to postpone only two nights before curtain up. We are so proud of you Logan, of your professionalism and maturity and we cannot wait to see it when it is goes ahead! Well done!

| Abstract Casting Agency News | We would like to say a huge well done to Oscar and Henry who had both been cast in An Inspector Calls for its week of performances in Guildford which was due to start on Monday. Unfortunately this will not be going ahead due to the virus but we are ever so proud of the boys for being cast for these roles! Well done Oscar and Henry!

We would like to say a huge well done to our Principal, Amber who has passed her Acrobatics Competition & Festival Adjudicating and Judging exams with amazing marks! Amber is also one of the first in the WORLD to achieve this qualification as it was only released a month ago! We are so proud of you Amber, well done! 🤸

We were recently in the IDTA international magazine for winning the award for innovation!!! How amazing! 💜

Today at 11.30 Oti from TV’s Strictly Come Dancing is a live kids dance class!! Another great opportunity for you all to get moving together!! Keeeep dancing 💃🏻❤️

If anyone wants to get moving over this time away from classes this is a fabulous opportunity to try some tap dancing with one of the best in the industry!! Today at 2.30!! 👣👣

This years event has been postponed but did you know Amber is regularly asked to teach workshops at Move It London, the world's largest dance event! Here's memories from 2019.

We would like to say a huge well done to Maggie from Abstract who WON the Singing Competition on the Competition Stage at Perform Ireland! Well done Maggie we are so proud of you!

We would like to say a huge well done to our Principal who taught an Urban Jazz workshop at Perform Ireland Convention yesterday! Such an amazing class! A huge well done to Amber’s demonstrators Maggie, Keira & Tayla who performed and helped the dancers throughout the workshop!

Wow! We would like to say a huge well done to our Principal Amber who is now qualified to teach two brand new syllabi with two new exam boards, International Dance Technique and Acrolink! Amber has attended the first course in Europe and is one of only 8 teachers in Europe qualified to teach these two new syllabi! Amber is also the first and only teacher in Hampshire! Amber is very excited to bring this Australian technique training to Hampshire and to introduce this training of new techniques into Ultimate Dancer Classes at Abstract Portsmouth!
