Consultants in Higher Education, including education leadership, management, international partnerships, learning technology, and quality assurance. We work well together as a team when the opportunity presents itself. It allows us to bring together our different skills and approaches to challenges, and we have successfully tackled a number of different projects. We enjoy the dynamic that working together gives us, as we see issues and solutions in differently, and this provides great opportunities when tackling new and diverse challenges. We both also enjoy and work well with people which is a great starting point. UK HND Student ProjectsWe jointly produced a new set up for HND Entertainment Technology students at Staffordshire University, setting a series of milestones for students in a successful attempt to encourage students to work to deadlines and produce outputs on time. Overseas PartnershipsWe have worked together with a number of organisations overseas, and together have developed an understanding of the way that people work in different cultures. It is essential when working with those from other backgrounds to understand how to approach issues in order to be successful. Middle East In the Middle East we worked with Gulf College, Oman from 2009 to 2013. During the period 2009 to 2011 we led preparations for Gulf College's audit by the Omani Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA) in 2011. Far EastIn the Far East we have worked with several organisations. In Malaysia we collaborated on a number of projects within the APIIT (Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology) group. At the APIIT's schools this included the investigation of and introduction of a VLE. At KLMUC (Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University College), Malaysia Karen led the investigation of various VLEs with support from Peter. We also collaborated on the successful implementation of a SharePoint system to organise and manage programmes and courses.
