Water confidence isn’t just about building confidence, it’s a fun and dynamic lesson for ages 2.5 years upwards. These little water babies are super confident in the water, and 2 have already been awarded ICS (swimming without armbands!) Classes are 20 mins long - ample time for the little ones and have a maximum of 5 per class. With water based instruction with our amazing Hayley, it’s the best possible start to swimming lessons.

4 years old and she can do 50m!!!! 25m breaststroke & 25m back crawl! And she made it look easy! Robyn started lessons at 2 with us and tries so hard in every lesson. Instructor Hayley has been teaching her since 2years old and is soooo proud of this little girl! ... Next Olympic swimmer? I think so!

Wow, wow and wow! My little girl has attended lessons for a year at a different swim school however due to constant change of instructors and little progression we decided to travel further to here. Our little girl has delayed development, we prepared Jasmine for the change showing her a photo of Hayley for a week, we decided on water confidence as she had become scared of lessons at her old school. She confidently entered the water and swam like I have never seen her swim before. I have left in shock and the difference brought tears to my eyes. Thank you, Jasmine has left on a complete high and I can't wait for her to join the beginners on her next lesson. Amazing service both in and out of the water!

Well what can I say, what a massive thanks to Kevin and all the team at academy of swimming!!!!

My little boy Elliot Whitaker was absolutely scared to death of water 2 weeks ago, we still had few tears, but after all the hard work the academy put in with Elliot, to re-gain his confidence in the water it's amazing to say 'Elliot has passed his 5m and 10m badge in just 2 weeks .



I would definitely recommend these swimming lessons, you guys do a fab job!!! Elliot cant wait to start his swimming lesson in September now!!!!!! x

Thanks to everyone for a fantastic week of lessons- my daughter is so pleased with her 10m today. She was determined she was going to do it. Best decision I made to bring her to you for lessons last summer.

Thanks to everyone at Academy of swimming for their help with my 3 year old boy, he’s being attending lessons else where for a year but 4 weeks with theses guys and he’s already achieved 2.5meters, ALONE! Super proud and knew he could do it! 🏊🏻‍♂️

Inaaya absolutely loves her swimming lessons with Kevin she was petrified of water before starting and with the help of Kevin her fear has gone and she loves going.

I would highly recommend the academy of swimming. My granddaughter is so confident in the water now and absolutely loves her teacher (Hayley).

I can highly recommend this place and think Kevin is amazing. After 5 lessons my son Ben got his 10 metre badge tonight. 5 weeks ago he wouldn't put his head under the water never mind chance not wearing armbands.

Cannot fault the teaching at all. The staff from reception to teachers right through to lifeguard on duty are amazing, positive, energetic and experienced. My daughters look forward to their lesson every week!

Hailey is a brilliant teacher. Hailey makes sure everybody is progressing at the same time. Definitely recommend her.

Great place for learning to swim. My daughter loves going and absolutely loves Haley, she is so wonderful with the kids. I would recommend to anyone wanting their children to learn to swim

Devlin had a great 1st lesson he wasn't confident in the water n didn't want to learn before he attended today but now he can't wait for his next lesson. Kevin did a great job making him feel comfortable in the water.

Brilliant, first lesson for my daughter today, she loved it and can't wait for the next one. All the staff have been fantastic.

Don't think they try that hard with kids.

I'm surprised they've got loads of good reviews.

My daughter went for quite some time and she still can't swim :( so I'm going to try a different place now.

The Academy kindly donated a voucher to School for holiday swimming lessons, but as my daughter was poorly on the registration days we could not attend. Contacted numerous times with limited response. On the 2nd registration day I was told the lessons were fully booked. In my opinion it's wrong to issue a voucher and not pre allocate a place for the lucky recipient. Could have been handled better. Disappointing to win a prize and it not be honoured.
