Access

Access is a person-centred provision for adults who have a learning disability. It supports the individual's progression towards their goals.

Access supports individuals to investigate existing skills, strengths and interests and develop these to enable participation in their chosen activities (either through work, learning or leisure).

Day Opportunity- Mon-Fri (1-5 days attendance)
Individuals can choose from activities in the areas of learning, leisure and work.

Learning activities include: Money skills, computer, communication, numeracy, literacy, crafts, keeping fit, music, travel, cooking, personal development and recycling etc.

Leisure activities include: dance, games, swimming, bowling, walking, eating out, snooker, sports, karaoke, cinema, gym, library and music etc.

Work activities include: gardening, mailing work, woodwork, delivery and office skills.

Social evening and weekends (optional)
Providing the opportunity to take park in chosen social and leisure activities during the evenings and /or weekends. Activities include: karaoke, eating out, cinema, walks, visits to pubs, day trips to stately homes, gardens, museums and places of interest etc.


Short Breaks (optional)
Enabling breaks, with friends in a static caravan, lodge or hotels in Britain and abroad. Places we have been previously include Disneyland Paris, Lake District, Edinburgh, Derbyshire, Turkey, London and various sea side resorts.
