Last minute places on our Emergency First Aid at work. This Friday the 22nd. £100. Don't be that guy.

We are continuing to take donations to support the homeless in Sheffield. All items are greatly appreciated. Items such as gents and womens clothing, shoes, toiletries etc.
On top of that, contributions of camping equipment would be brilliant. Unwanted tents, sleeping mats, eating equipment.
Our Office Manager Maria Jeffery takes these items directly to the homeless on the streets of Sheffield where they are needed the most so please dig deep as this time of year is particularly hard for those less fortunate then us. Thank you!

Hi All. Just wondering if anyone could help out a fellow Rope professional. Dave was based in Sheffield for a long time. A British Mountain Guide and all round good Guy. Last year skiing in Scotland with his family, a freak fall left Dave with a brain stem stroke. Basically he lost all motor skills and he was reduced to blinking. This was his only form of communication, while have having no other brain injuries Dave is still very much still all there. (When a mate was visit...ing him It took Dave 20 minutes to Type out "Thank god you are here, my pants have been Stuck in my Arse crack for 4 hours!) So If you could Spare the price of pint for him or whatever you could, Dave and his young family would very, very grateful and hopefully he will continue to improve.

... CAN has numerous rope access technician vacancies available. Working onshore across both sides of the business, Geotechnical and Structures, all applicants must hold an IRATA ticket (Level 1, 2 or 3).

Established in 1983, CAN became the first UK rope access contractor. We undertake a wide range of services, including ground engineering, structural installation and maintenance, providing specialist access within all aspects of the construction and civil engineering markets.

What are we looking for?

Ideally, individuals will be willing to travel and work weekends, used to working outside and have a conscientious attitude to health and safety. Existing masonry and brickwork skills are desirable although not essential.

Enthusiasm and a willingness to work and learn are important although experience or trade skills are undeniably advantageous. Full specialist training shall be provided and good salary opportunities exist for those applicants who are successful.

Really good training by great instructors venue is perfect for training and the sandwich shop round the corners pretty good too

Instructors and facilities are second to none, absolutely fantastic tuition in the classroom and on the ropes, makes for a great atmosphere with the other guys/girls on the courses.

I've been to five different centres around the UK, this is by far the best, the Training is second to none and its delivered in a simple way that's easy to understand, your not afraid to ask even if it's something you should know, also you can watch all the training on You tube, I wouldn't go anywhere else,

3 year re-vslidation.....excellent facilities and professional tuition.....would highly recommend Access Techniques for all rope access training
