About Access2Work Ltd Inspiring People Strengthening Communities

Now offering services starting from only £20. These services include: Access2Training, Access2 Workshops, Access2 Jobs, C. V Building, Cover Letter Development, Work Placements and many more services to help find the right job for you.

Our mission is to help and support local communities, particularly the disadvantaged, “inspiring people – strengthening communities” to maximize their potential and quality of life. Our task is to equip individuals to take responsibility for themselves and provide positive role models in the community.

The Access2Work ethos is to support and guide people within the community to access resources, also paying attention to the individuals, who may not always be benefit claimants, by offering the opportunities that have not always been possible by placing them with an employer to gain new skills and also, where appropriate, encouraging to set-up their own businesses. We are anxious to share with other regions the good relationship we have with employers in Derbyshire. It is important for us to educate employers to have a better understanding of the benefits of employing people from different backgrounds and cultures. In this region the pattern of immigration is changing constantly. This includes people with different level of skills, knowledge and experience that can be utilised to benefit all sectors. There is support from local business and organisations willing to be part of the "Big Society Agenda". Access2Work would also like to help prepare for the future growth of industry by encouraging and supporting young people to gain further skills and education to meet the future demands in the local labour market.
Within five years we aim to have a team of advisors based in outreach offices offering our services throughout the region.

Access2Work is a new company founded in Oct 2010. The company is managed by a dedicated team of staff who, collectively, have over 30 years experience of working for JCP and the DWP provider contracts, European Social Fund, Skills Funding Agency (LSC), National Probation Services, H M Prison Services, NHS, Home Office and the Local Authority. The contracts that have been delivered are New Deal, Flexible New Deal, Program Centre and other funded programs of ESF funds which are Supporting EX-Offenders and Substance Misuse, HO - Living in UK (Citizenship), Into Work Support (customers with health conditions), NPS and HMP contracts of Education Training and Employment, helping and supporting people with mental health issues by providing Psychotherapeutic group work and facilitation.

Access2Work employ staff who are qualified to conduct Health and Safety Audits for work placements and are also trained to assess means tested benefits. We are having great success in sourcing new work placements and have an extensive expanding database of active employers (currently in excess of 350). We pride ourselves in our ability to turn work placements into paid sustained employment. Disadvantaged customers and communities have benefited by the help and support we give to overcome barriers to employment. Each member of the team has a proven track record of working to and within the contractual obligations and quality framework standards of OFSTED and FAM Audits assurance even where individual cases prove difficult.
