Operational since 1999, the Acclimbatize brand of outdoor learning was established on a solid foundation of best practice and influenced by some of the most highly respected outdoor practitioners in Britain.
From these foundations a unique delivery style has evolved and been formulated into a distinctive and tangible style of practice.
Essentially we create meaning from the adventurous activities we provide by placing strong emphasis on engagement and co-operation.
We emphasise this (in briefing and review) to improve key team working skills and raise levels of individual performance.
Our approach is defined by a policy of 'Challenge by Choice'.
Participants on our courses are positively encouraged and actively supported to achieve their personal level of challenge.
We believe in giving people the space to build and extend their own confidence in a socially acceptable environment that supports learning for all.
