Wendy is such a kind, caring, patient, and compassionate horsewoman who truly cares for the horse and it’s rider. She was the first person who taught me how to ride when I was young and has given me invaluable skills for riding and stable management. Wendy has been such an asset to me in my riding career and I will forever cherish my many years spent riding under her instruction. Thanks Wendy for turning me into the horsewoman I am today!

Wendy is amazingly patient and kind and is the perfect coach for all ages and levels of riders. She knows how to challenge you and push you just outside your comfort level in an extremely safe and supportive way. Both my teenage daughter and I learned more than I ever could have expected from her including riding skills, stable management, horse care, and barn safety. Wendy is a natural teacher who has a knack for giving positive reinforcement. My only regret is that I didn't start lessons with her sooner. We miss her a lot.

I rode under Wendy's instruction for many years when she was teaching in Canada. I found her to be a knowledgeable instructor with a very good eye in picking up on areas that I needed to improve on. She also has endless patience with both her riders and horses which in my opinion is a huge asset. It is not only the rider that Wendy cares about but also the horses. Wendy's riding lessons were a combination of lots to learn, new challenges to tackle, information to absorb, demonstrations at times and other times when we just had to laugh. My only regret is that she no longer lives "just down the road" from me.

Her approach to teaching is very refreshing. She gives good clear instruction and asks her students well thought out questions. Her lessons are not made up of a series of set instructions. She encourages her riders to think about the effects on both themselves and the horses way of going as they perform different exercises.
