FIBREGLASS AND GRP REPAIRS

Whether it is impact structural damage or just a cosmetic repair, we can create the best possible solution and finish to your vessel. The colour match is always key to an expert repair.

REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE

Damage to your vessel can be caused unfortunate collision, dock, rock, wind, storm, trailer, expected ‘wear and tear’, the sun and weather elements. However when the damage occurs we can repair, improve the looks and extend the life of your new or ‘seasoned’ investment. This includes large distortion repairs, forming profiles and shapes and colour repairs.

PAINT REFINISHING

Specialist in respraying, using all top marine brand paints, mixing and matching colours to achieve the perfect finish and long lasting shine.

RE-GELCOATING

Re-gelcoating will create a more robust longer lasting finish. This can be applied by roller or spray, then sanded and machine polished back resulting in a high quality finish.

POLISHING

Restoring the gel coat back to a high gloss finish through machine polishing and using the best quality cutting compounds and UV waxes.

ANTIFOULING AND ANTIFOULING REMOVAL

A fouled hull can cause serious problems, once fouling has a hold on your hull it will rapidly colonise the surface, making it difficult to remove. Prevention is better than a cure. Applying an antifouling paint will prevent the attachment of fouling organisms, such as barnacles, weeds & slime to the hull of your boat. We use only the best anti-fouling paints to ensure your boat remains free of fouling for as long as possible. We can also remove old existing antifouling coatings by scraping back by hand and sanding which causes less damage to the hull than being shot or soda blasted.

COPPERCOATING

Coppercoat is the combination of a specially developed two pack epoxy resin and 99% pure copper. Coppercoat will help prevent osmosis in GRP craft & other extra protection against corrosion in steel vessels. Coppercoat is long lasting and the most durable anti-foul, once treated it lasts for up to 10 years. It can be used on all surfaces including GRP, iron, steel, wood and aluminium.

WOODWORK REPAIRS / FRENCH POLISHING

Interior varnishing & lacquering to wooden interiors from start to finish through both spraying and brush. Any scratches or scuffs to your interior woodwork can be repaired to the original finish.

VARNISHING

We can scrape and sand back exisitng old varnish work, and apply new varnish either by brush or spray to a high gloss superior finish.

BOW THRUSTERS

We can fit bow thruster tubes and all the accessories as required.

OSMOSIS TREATMENT AND PREVENTION

We provide a highly professional Osmosis repair service that will pinpoint where the problems are occuring and will deliver a solution that will fully repair your boat. If your boat is older then you are more likely to encounter this problem but being caught at the early stages or before it starts; epoxy prevention will slow down and possibly stop osmosis getting hold.
