Took my bike for a simple service. It's in good condition but a few loose spokes and brakes needed bleeding so i thought i would get it a full service by a professional with winter coming. Walked in with my bike and owner seemed uninterested and said i would need to come back next week as he didn't have room to store my bike. Fair enough i thought. Explained what i wanted doing, he looked it over and said it would be a pain to do as the components are 'entry level spec' and i should take it to Halfords...the bike cost £750 and components are not entry level. Very uninterested and unhelpful. I took my bike to Bridgetown cycles and they were more than happy to keep my bike until the following week and give it a good service. Wouldn't recommend and other negative reviews are accurate in my experience.
Great local bike shop, Mike knows his stuff and will help out as much as he can. Wont let you throw good money at bad so will sometimes not recommend a repair if its more than the bikes worth. The services are fantastic, makes the bike look new! I recommend this shop highly and will keep going back
