Acid recycles was a project I created, instead of doing an MBA. And with a lot of help from "david Bike Legend" we managed to achieve the goal I set as it's intention. That being, to take old "knackered" classics, like raleigh choppers and vintage tandems. Put them through our love restoration system and in doing so, created one off "love restored" bicycles. These were styled in a green black and white colour scheme, to represent our mantra "green, a black and white decision..."!
Having successfully achieved the projects objective, we were successful in selling our first edition of love restored bicycles in a trendy recycled art and furniture shop in Notting Hill.
Goal achieved David went on to qualify as a bicycle mechanic trainer and to establish Cyclic Nature (London based mobile bike maintenance http://www.cyclic-nature.com/).
I went on to use the bicycles as I launched thefruitchopper, using the bicycles as part of my bicycle blending smoothie bar.
The businesses is now in long term hibernation, however, we do still have many completed bikes, bike components and completed "acid recycles projects" in storage. As I need to refinance a little after a few touch years, over the coming months, I will start to advertise these through my new website www.urbanforaged.com However, if you are interested to learn more about the stock we still hold please get in contact.
My long term intention is to reinvigorate the Acid Recycles "love restored" Bicycle Brand, as though dormant it has already had all the investment needed to function. However, as my focus is on other things right now, I thought I would give all our followers a little update as to it's current dormant status.
So, until life is such that I can afford to give this lovely little business the attention it requires, "happy peddling"!
