Took my kids here last week for a kids learn to ski in a day course. They loved it and learnt loads. Me and my wife went here today for our first ski lesson and not only did we learn loads but we also had fun which is what skiing is about. Our instructor was very professional, encouraging yet good fun. Highly recommended especially if can get the Groupon deal

The kids had a climbing lesson today with Eddie. Thank you so much for being so patient and for encouraging both of them during their climbs. It was brilliant to see them gaining confidence as they tried each challenge. We are now planning our next visit: kids v adults! �

Staff are so lovely can't believe this place is on our door step kids love the place.

Second lesson complete! Had so much fun tonight. Mastering the art of turning! It's harder than it looks you know, but I'm learning quickly and Craig is such a great coach! It feels fantastic to learn something new, you are never too old! I can't wait for next year when I can put it all to the test on real slopes!

Really enjoyed the thrill taster day. The events were well organised and the staff are fab! We had a great day and looking forward to the next one!

Our first visit to The Ackers with our charity, Reach. All the children had a fabulous time on both skis and toboggans. Emma, our instructor, was fantastic as were all the staff, including those who helped over the telephone when booking and with my (many) questions! Highly recommended and hope to visit again soon! My son and his friends have enjoyed an amazing day full of fun and great activities at the 'Thrillseeker day'.

Very knowledgeable instructors who are friendly and welcoming.

The activities were brilliant and the queues weren't too bad, much better than a theme park and twice as much fun!

Highly recommend this great place for children and adults to give new activities a try.

My husband & I had a lesson this morning, first ever time on ski's and we smashed it. Our instructor was fab & we learnt so much in an hour! All the staff we met today were lovely, we will be back �

My children had an amazing time, their first time on ski's. We attended Ackers for a Reach Charity Limited get together. Emma was a brilliant and patient instructor, teaching a group of children aged 5 to 17. Would recommend and will hopefully be back.

Just had the most amazing time on the Thrill Seekers day. Staff were so welcoming and friendly and professional. Whole family ( age 8 to age 71) made the most of all the facilities on offer - zip wire, fan descender, rock climbing, kayaking, archery and jungle challenge. Absolutely brilliant. Can't recommend it highly enough!! And we didn't even get chance to do the ski and toboggan!! Next time!

I had a private ski lesson today and absolutely loved it. I was so nervous at the beginning and by the end of my session I had the biggest smile on my face ever. I had had a bad experience skiing and not enjoyed lessons else where so had been massively put off. Mark is a credit to the team and would recommend anyone coming here to learn. I will definitely be coming back. Thoroughly enjoyed my morning. Thankyou!

Great two days - a canoeing taster and archery taster sessions on Saturday and a kayaking session this morning! Mark was great, gave clear instructions and was really friendly. We'll definitely be back! �

Fantastic afternoon at Ackers today with my three and their friends. Enthusiastic and kind instructors and lots of time on activity. Thank you for your energy, we all really enjoyed it :)

Fab day with very professional Staff...great facilities incl lots of parking and easy to find. Definitely worth a visit ��we participated in a charity abseil and the instructors were fantastic at putting our minds at ease....even at 65 foot in the air!!

We had a family ski lesson led by Emma. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the outset and Emma was a great teacher who was really good with our children. We had a lot of fun and learnt lots too. I didn't give it five stars due to the state of the road and the facilities need upgrading but I cannot fault the staff; from booking to goodbye they were fantastic!

Took the kids tobogganing today on the groupon voucher for 1 hr. Lovely staff. Its too warm at min. So wearing long sleeve and trousers. As suggested by them. Kids were very sweaty and got tired. Slope is good. Not very fast for kids and their thrills even at that age. But it was ok. Ages. 8.7 and 6.



They had fun. Something to do.

The youngsters loved the tobagganing. The staff were really helpful and although they were to young for the ski slope they showed them what to do on the ground! They can't wait to go back!
