Ackworth Fisheries Description
Located next to The Rustic Arms pub, Ackworth Fisheries is a fishing site boasting two ponds containing a mixture of fish these include Ghost and Koi Carp, Bream, Tench, Rudd, Roach, Perch and Goldfish and many more.
We are open from 7am til 9pm (closing early in winter due to the dark nights)
For a full days fishing its just £6 for one rod and £8. 50 for two rods.
After 4pm the price is reduced to £4 for one rod and £6 for two rods.
Every Thursday is concessions day for O. A. P and disabled costing just £4 for a full days fishing (please bring proof with you)
All children under the age 13 can fish for the price of £4 but must be supervised at all times by an adult.

Today's match on the small pond was won with 56lbs, 2nd place was 42lbs and 3rd was 36.2lbs.
Just a note to all that the right hand bank on the large fishing pond (located next to the pub) will closed due to banking reconstruction. The small pond will be open as usual and some pegs are available on the left hand bank of the large pond. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.
